I received my tickets for MCMCP for 19 December and called to get PS at LTT for dinner that evening. The CM who helped me had to click through a couple of times to find it but said that all PS was already full through 7:15PM.

There are a group of us sailing on the Magic on the 20th who are all going to MVMCP on the 19th. When another Dis'er called, she was told that she had to call back on 12/20th as they had not opened PS for LTT for our dates yet.

Has anyone else booked PS already or do I still have a chance for the 19th? When we went last year, I remember booking the PS when I got the tickets but I am aging rapidly so maybe my memory is going, too.

Thanks, in advance, for any help!!

They do have a certain number of PS for LTT that they make available for MVMCP PS's, able to be made further out than the normal 90 day window for that type of restaurant. Not all seats are made availabe though, for earlier making. When all the seatings for those are filled, the PS's are held off till the normal 90 day window, which for 12/19 is 9/20, when the seatings not made available earlier are then released into the system. Confused yet, LOL. :)

Dan - As always, thanks so much!! That does explain the two different answers. Both were essentially right. I will try back on the 19th! Thanks so much for the quick reply.

My DS will be thrilled to know that there is still hope! :p Thanks for the info!

We have tickets for the 2nd of December and we were wondering what to do for Dinner that night. We thought LTT might be an option but do you think we even have a chance of getting in now? Also, is it worth it?

Thanks,
-Sherri

We have MVMCP tickets for 11th, I called yesterday and I was able to get PS's for dinner at LTT on the 11th. I had to take 6:25pm as this was the earliest they had left.

Last year, I had a 7 p.m. seating. I wanted something earlier, so I just called back every once in a while. Low and behold, it paid off. I was able to get a 5:05 seating.....can't get much earlier than that since they open at 5 for dinner.

Good luck.

I have MVMCP tickets for the 7th and I called at 7am this morning and they told me there wasn't any left for the LIBERTY TREE TAVERN.

We have tickets for the 9th of December.....I did call today, and they told me that there were no available PS's at LTT for that night. Now, my 90 day window for that night doesn't "open" until Wednesday the 10th of September....so I'm hoping against hope that there will be spots that become "available" for the 90 day people...

although.....if the parks close early, then the only people that should BE there are those with MVMCP tickets anyway, so maybe there aren't any "general population" spots available after all.....rats. :(

I'm curious as to whether you got your PS for LTT.

We usually go there for dinner and forgot all about the whole MVMCP conflict. We want to go to the LTT but don't want it to be a mob scene - IF we get in.

Just wondering what you all think!

No, I didn't get it. :( I called yesterday (my 90 day *limit* for the 9th ) and all they had left for a party of 5 was 7:00 and later. We chose to eat at Tony's Town Square instead.....

I think that any night that there is MVMCP will be difficult to get a PS for LTT, so if you have your heart set on it, you may want to check the scheduled dates for MVMCP and avoid them! Good luck!

AKASnowWhite,

Did you make a PS at Tony's for before the party? We would rather eat there and I didn't know for sure if they would be open for the MVMCP.

akasnowwhite,
Sorry you didn't get what you wanted. We love Tony's though.
Thanks for the info and advice.

I'm confused. I thought you couldn't call until 90 days out. How is the 19th full now??? We called 91 days out (we calculated wrong) to make a PS and were told that we called too soon and to try back the next day. So what's the story?

Our PS is for 5:35...they had other times available as well, but I figured that would work out pretty well for us. Good luck with your PS! :)

We booked for the 19th at LTT the same day we got our MVMCP tickets for 5:00. That was about three weeks ago. I did not know they opened Tony's, I think I would prefer to eat there. Can we book there now for the 19th? Of course, it might be full but there are only two of us so it might be worth a try. My dd is five, where do you think she would prefer? Never been to LTT before. Thank you!!

For the past 2 years they have let you book LTT for MNSSHP and MVMCP right when you bought your tickets.

Then the other sit down restaurants open up at 90 days...Crystal Palace, the Castle, and Tony's.

When you called at 91 days, they might have thought you were just some joe smoe calling and then it would be 90 days out BUT if you mentioned that you were attending a party, they would have tried to find you a table BUT it probably still would have been filled up by people who booked LTT months ago.

At 90 days, I believe tables at LTT will open up. They set some aside (I've heard) and many people (including me) called at 90 days to switch to a different restaurant. So keep trying!

You cannot call for any other restaurant (except LTT) until you hit 90 days. Only LTT opened up before the 90 days for party goers. I believe if you are going December 19 then your 90 day window isn't for at least another 8 days, right? It should be wide open because everyone will be calling for December 19th on the same day.

Tony's did NOT open up for anyone here unless they hit their 90 day mark. I believe one person here got Tony's for December 9 which is within the 90 days.

I think a 5 year old would prefer a character meal...at least my kids would. We're doing CP for the Pooh characters and I prefer the food there but LTT is nice too with Minnie and friends.

Good luck!

beattyfamily,
ahhh, that makes sense! Thank you for your help. Hmm, yes, she probably would prefer the Minnie, Mickey group as opposed to Pooh and friends, or no friends at Tony's:-) Guess the smartest thing to do would be to pull the menus and ask her. She is a picky little eater and I think I read LTT has mashed potatoes and mac n' cheese, two of the six things she will eat. So, we may just stay there and not have to worry about trying to get another one anyway. I hope everyone enjoys their meal no matter where they go!!!
