Liberty Tree or Tony's

We have only eaten at Liberty Tree (both lunch and dinner) and love it!!! Tony's is on our list for our next trip. Good luck!!

we ate at both and prefer Liberty Tavern , the meal at Tonys was not very impressive to us I guess the sauce is true Italian and we just are not use to it but hope you have fun

Tony's is so much better. We don't care for the Stoffer's frozen meal at LTT.

Depends on what meal you are talking about. If you are talking about lunch, it is a tie--we really enjoyed both. If you are talking dinner, then I'd say Tony's as we've never done LTT for dinner (I am not a Thanksgiving dinner person--turkey and stuffing do NOTHING for me). We always enjoyed our meals at Tony's, but we prefer lunch as the portions are smaller and the service better (it's not so crowded as it is at dinner).

I am quite sure that you get no frozen meal at LTT.
It is a wonderful family style Thanksgiving Feast with all the trimmings......turkey, mac and cheese, mashed pot, veggie...and YUMMY...so I am not sure what another poster meant by a frozen meal????? Personally I thnk it is Furthest from that...
We're doing Tonys this visit, our first (though we are still lucky enough to do LTT for dinner one night too)
Have a great trip!!

For dinner I agree! I still can't believe they didn't lower the price for dinner when they took away the characters. The characters were the only reason we went. Now for lunch I'd agree with KatMark and say it'd be a tie. For dinner though, I'd go with Tony's.

We did both last yr and liked both.

I think it really does depend on what you want to eat. As posted LTT is Turkey and sides and is family style. Tonys has a menu so you have diff choices.

We thought both were really good. We are sad they took the characters out of LTT:confused:

We love the food at Tonys for lunch and dinner...the menu at LTT doesnt do it for us

I think when they say "frozen meal", it's because they use Stouffer's mac and cheese (the restaurant is sponsored by Stouffer's). I'm not a fan personally, but my DH has been buying Stouffer's frozen mac and cheese ever since. He loved it! :confused3

That said, I thought all the other food was fresh and tasty. And as I recall, they did have at least 1 other kind of meat besides the turkey. But you really need to be in the mood for a Thanksgiving type of menu, since that's all they have at dinner. I thought before I went, no way will I be in the mood for that after being in the hot sun all day, but it surprisingly hit the spot. That said, the lunch menu intriuges me much more, and I won't book for dinner again unless they bring the characters back (unless DH has anything to say about it ).

We went to LTT last year for lunch and liked it. Would recommend it. We will be going there again in November!

LTT was a favorite of my family. Guess it just depends on what menu you are really looking for.

I agree..we've never done LTT for dinner, always do lunch. The Pilgrims Feast is my favorite, although the pot roast is great too.

I'm afraid to try Tony's...I come from a state where there are tons of good Italian restaurants. I lived in a different state for a awhile and it was hard to find decent Italian food(One place put cottage cheese in their lasagna rather than ricotta..blasphemy!!). I'm not even Italian...I just love their food!:lmao:
