Which one of these is better? Or are they both awful and should be avoided? :rotfl2:

The Plaza is a glorified counter service sandwich shop with slightly better food and options but nothing special. LTT is more of a sit down restaurant with other menu items, including sandwiches at lunch. If you want just a sandwich either is fine. If you want more than a sandwich you should avoid the Plaza.

It depends on what you're looking for I think. Plaza is mostly burgers and fries, while Liberty Tree has thanksgiving-esque foods, more like a dinner than burgers. At dinner, Liberty Tree is served family style so it's a better value IMO.

I like both. :confused3 It depends on what you're in the mood for. Plaza is lighter with sandwiches and salads whereas LTT offers more "meals". I usually book either or for lunch and usually it's at Plaza. I know how we are and a Thanksgiving dinner in the mid-afternoon is too much food.

For lunch, either would work. Plaza is great, if you're looking for a light dinner. We've given LTT dinner 3 tries, & won't go again. It's not for us.

Just did first trip back to LTT since they took away the characters. Still enjoyed the food as much as ever, despite waiting about 45 minutes past ADR.

I agree with other posters, depends on what you want. Sit down? LTT all the way. Quick bite? Go to the Plaza.

I'm a fan of both! At LTT we got the Fried Cheese and how can you go wrong with that. I had the Colony Salad and it was super good!!

The Plaza is more on the relaxed side for sure. I had a burger on our last trip and had a philly cheese steak the year before that. Both were really good.

I would do LTT for dinner and Plaza for lunch.;)

We too like both, but I give the notch to LTT if you are going for lunch. During lunch they have a menu where you can pick from while for dinner it is the family style Thanksgiving type foods (turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, etc). We really like the lunch there (I am in love with the Colony Salad and the Ooey Gooey Toffy cake which is only served during lunch ). At the plaza we really like to go there for a light lunch and some milkshakes. So like others have already stated, it just depends on what type of foods you are looking for. I would check out the different menus at allears.net before deciding.

Thanks all! We are thinking about them for lunch, it will be our last meal of the trip so I want something fairly relaxed and enjoyable. I looked at both menus and like them both! I'm leaning towards Liberty Tree at this point... decisions, decisions

My vote would be for LTT. We weren't thrilled with The Plaza. Have fun on your trip.

my sister, a co worker and I had dinner reservations there in October we loved it! I had been once before and wasnt to impressed back in 2009, but decieded to give it another try and Im gald I did. When they brought out this big basket of rolls we wondered why they would bring so many for just the 3 of us way to much we thought! Lol well we ate every one and then asked for another basket to be brought they were soooo good as well as the rest of the meal. It was a bit of a long wait to be seated but it was worth it in the end, will be going back on the next trip in August!:thumbsup2

I had a great salad at both places.

Although I thought the food was good at LTT, I just felt like having Thanksgiving-type food was at odds with being at a theme park in boiling temperatures. Those options were just too heavy IMO.

I enjoyed the Plaza a lot -- great service and nice, fresh food. Not so heavy that I felt gross going back out in the heat.

We thoroughly enjoyed LTT. Went there for dinner and found the food to be excellent--and plenty of it. We had arrived about 10 minutes before our ADR and were seated immediately.

It reminded me of Thanksgiving Dinner without the hassle of actually cooking it! LOL.

Thanks to this thread, my mouth started watering for the Colony Salad and the Ooey Gooey Toffey Cake, so I went ahead and made a lunch reservation for our upcoming trip . I can't wait to go back :goodvibes.
