Hello All,

I haven't been to the Liberty Tree before, and have made a ADR for 4pm on a Friday.
From looking at this site, the menu choice be the Turkey Dinner + character dining.

The lunch menu has a big variety, but dinner has just one option. Is this correct?

Many thanks in advance,
Alex.

Yes dinner is served family style. All of the food is brought out on large platters and your party serves themselves. You can request more of something particular, but the menu for dinner is set. Here is a link to the menu.

It's really good though. I love the food at LTT for dinner.

We were just there last week and loved LTT for dinner. The kids ate everything and especially liked the green beans. It was great having this meal because after 3 days I felt like all the kids were eating was chicken and macaroni and cheese.

The characters here were great too. The colonial costumes made for some great pictures. Oh, and my DH is still talking about the dinner rolls and the apple cobbler for dessert. We wished we wouldn't have eaten so many rolls and saved more room for dessert.

You will love it!!! Plus, the character dining ends on 1/4/09, so it will be good to experience it before you can't!

I didn't realize this was ending! We are going for our first time in Nov. I am so glad that I booked this!

The dinner will still be there. It's just the characters that are leaving (unfortunately).

Hi all,

Thanks for your replys. It will just be myself and my wife for dinner. Do you think we will fit in as a party of two?
I would not want to take potential booking away from a larger family if we would be better suited going to a different place to eat.

many thanks for input. Alex.

Oh yeah, you'll be fine. I eat at LTT all the time by myself.

It's a tradition for us to eat there on our first day in Disney. I love the colonial atmosphere!

What time does the dinner menu start? I think we are scheduled for 4:30 & I am hoping that is dinner.

My husband and I ate at LTT on our last pre-kid trip in 2004. It was so much fun. I think we had more fun than a family with children. I have no idea where they ended up as it was several computers ago, but I have pictures of my husband and Dale that are hilarious. I loved it so much we decided it was a must-do for when we take the twins in December. Unfortunately, with all characters leaving in January, everyone else must be having the same idea as me. I couldn't get in for the entire week. So, I guess I just have to keep LTT as a memory with just me and my husband.

I went to LTT in '07.
Food was school cafeteria quaility, nothing I would have paid money for.

Only other place you can get food this bad is those $8 "country style" buffet restraunt's the old people go to.

LTT dinner starts at 4:00. We too have a 4:30 on the night we go to MVMCP. The food is great--especially the dessert. We have also eaten there for lunch time which is from the menu. It's great--I liked the soup--we are going again for lunch in February.

Wow, what kind of old people you hanging around with Unca_Scrooge!

Very few dining establishements are 4 or 5 star at Disney, but LTT has decent food both for young and old people. They also have really good sweet tea!

Does anyone know if they will have different characters return to LT? We were hoping to dine there in Dec.'09, but we may do CP instead. Thanks for the info.

No. There won't be any characters there at all. :(

I went to LTT in late 05 and the food was pretty good but not great. If it was up to me, I wouldn't go back there just because there are much better places to eat.

Wife made us go back to LTT during Micky's haloween party, and the servers were all dressed in costumes. Food was horrible. Dry and tasteless mostly, and the best thing they served was the stouffer's frozen mac&chesse. I'm a lousy cook, so when my home cooked meals are better then what I'm being served in a restraunt then we have a problem.

I think the food quaility is pretty hit or miss there, which is surprising because it's nothing fancy. I compare it to the cheap familiy style buffets with the early brid specials. Or the cafeteria food they server right before Thanksgiving break starts.

Disney has plenty of excellent places to eat, this isn't one of them.
