Yes the characters are going away some time in January. January 8th if i remember correctly.
WHAT were they thinking????
We have reservations at Liberty Tree for one of our days in the Magic Kingdom during our trip at the end of January. I guess that means we will miss the characters. I wonder if we should just skip the dinner there at eat someplace else. The problem is that we have DDP and there are not really many other choices in the Magic Kingdom. We already have reservations at Tony's for one night. My kids are not interested in the Pooh characters at the Crystal Palace. What does that leave us? Should I just keep our Liberty Tree reservations?
That is very sad. I think that the MK is losing something by taking this away. They should replace it with other characters or at least make some type of meal with Mickey. The MK should be the perfect place to dine with the fab 5. If not them then a pirate meal or something.
Sorry, I don't think so. There are a lot of adult travelers (myself included) who look for non-character meals. In the last several years, they've been harder and harder to find. I first went to LTT in 1982, without characters. I've booked again in January and I wouldn't have if the characters had still been there. This is really sad. Disney is making a huge mistake here.![]()
