Liberty Tavern?

I looked at the Disney World web site, and it seemed to indicate that LTT has both a character interaction and a non-character one. Is this the case? Does anyone know, if it is true, if the meal is the same if you opt out of character interaction?

I noticed that an earlier post said that the food is served family style. If there are two of us in our party, will we be seated with others, or will we just sit together at a table by ourselves?

Thanks!

Scott

Lunch is non-character, while dinner in character, if I remember correctly. There's no way to "opt out" of the character interaction at dinner, but the lunch menu isn't served family style.

My mum and I went with just the 2 of us last trip and we were seated alone (though the girl at the table near us kept running over to the characters and hitting them when they came to our table before hers :rolleyes1 ). So you should be seated at a table just for the 2 of you. :)

I'm so glad I made this ADR, I appreciate everyone's advice. You guys are great and I'm surprising my whole family including DH.

I have set up 3 ADR and CRT(husband knows about this one) but I am going to suprise him with the others.

We are doing CRT, Chef Mickey's for Breakfast, Crystal Palace and Liberty Tree Tavern. I'm so excited. I'm really thinking about saving some money to do a gift basket for my girls from memories from Sarah.

Thanks! That does make sense. :goodvibes

Is there a certain time that "lunch" stops and "dinner" starts? I've read some people have dinner reservations at 4:30, which I think would be great. What's the cut-off time, does anyone know?

I know that you weren't asking this, but I just wanted to make sure that you are aware that the lunch menu is not the same at the dinner menu. Where the dinner menu is what has been discussed on this thread, lunch you order from a more varied menu. You can find your choices here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?restaurant.ID=87#menu

Thanks! I decided to go ahead and get the character dinner. :cool1: It is good to know the lunch choices, though, if I can't get a dinner reservation. I appreciate it!

If you are looking for good, basic American foods, I think that you will like it at the LTT.

Our DDs requested LTT just for that reason.

We really enjoyed LTT on the last two trips and are going back again Christmas Day. The food we found good, and it was very family friendly. Good character interaction both times as well.

We love LTT. We don't get the holiday meal often so going there was such a treat for us and the characters made it around 3 times while we were there. I believe we had apple cobbler when we went for our dessert. Our service was pretty good and they also had our table decorated for my birthday and brought me out a cupcake at the end of our meal. It was quite a bit of fun.

The more I read the more excited I get! It's terrible to wish your life away as you waiting until you go to Disney:rotfl: ! I'm looking forward to dining there in December!

Anyone have thoughts on what lunch is like at LTT? We're headed there in August and have an ADR for late lunch - the menu looks good. Has anyone tried it?
