A poster told me that there are special cruises during MNSSHP. A CM had no idea what I was talking about.

Anyone? Is it included?

Well, IF the boat IS running, it would not cost extra.

Last year the Liberty Square Riverboat was closed during MNSSHP.No word yet on if it will be open for this year's parties.

In years past you could board for a spooky fun cruise. The Country Bears were on there signing autographs and posing for pictures. The CMs were handing out treats.A blue grass band played a couple tunes and then a genuine southern belle...ghost...told us a haunted tale. The CM that night was great! Really into her character.(Not too scarey for little ones.) The boat is decorated with pumpkins and cornstalks and spider webs. You cruise on past the HM for great view of it at night.

The boat ride is included in your ticket price!

I think that it will still be under rehab for part of September.

I saw this at the '04 party. The band and the storyteller were REALLY good. That was the fastest ride...they just made it so entertaining that I got wrapped up in it and completely lost track of time.

It sounds like so much fun - but it doesn't sound promising if a CM had no ida what I was talking about!

While the boat has been in rehab for many months, it is slated to return on 9/22/06, which is the second MNSSHP night! I am so looking forward to seeing her in all of her newly rehabbed glory. I am hoping that they offer similar entertainment to what they did in 2004, because it sounds great! Maggie

Here is a "rule to live by".

Never assume that ALL CM's know "Everything about Everything".

This is not a "slam" at CM's.
Its just the fact that with "turnover",
many CM's have spent less time at WDW than some of us "regular" guests.

And most CM's have not spent nearly as much time "keeping track" of things
going on as the "regulars" here on the DISboards.

:thumbsup2

Was on www.disneyworld.com today and went under the calander to check the rehabs and closeures (sp?) for my upcoming trip in September.... the offical website now says the boat is only closed untill 9/7... hopefully I was looking right and am not reporting false info. :thumbsup2
