Liam's Wish Trip September 13-19th at GKTW

Thankyou everyone for your birthday wishes, it really made my day.:goodvibes

Just had to let everyone know something cool that happened to me today. I decided to take the kids to Six Flags Great America today to celebrate my birthday.(Have season passes so it was free) We had some tickets to be in the parade so we got to sit in a trolley and feel special for a half an hour. We than had a personal meet and greet with the characters. That would have been a lot better if the kids weren't tierd and just wanted to go home. (It was already past 9pm)

The thing that I wanted to tell everyone is there is a giant pool of water in front of the iconic double decker carousel there. People regularly throw money in it and make wishes. I used to work there, so I know for a fact that this money is gathered up at certain times to be donated to certain charities. Today I noticed a sign next to the water and a familiar sign caught my eye. All the money that was being thrown in the water was being donated to Give Kids the World.

I was so excited that I took a picture (will add it tomarrow, to tierd tonight) and went to guest relations to personaly thank them for the donations and tell them a little about the charity that unfortunalty they knew only a little about. I think I made their days with my kind words.

As we left the park, I gave each of the kids a quarter (and myself as well) and we threw them in the water. Our wish. . .well as you know I can't tell you, but I think you might already have guessed.:cloud9:

I woke up today with the relization that one month from today we will be on our way to Florida.:banana::banana:

Oh yea, and it is also my 36th birthday.

ONE MONTH!!!!!!! Wahoooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2::banana::banana::banana::cheer2:

and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU :rolleyes1 Happy Birthday to YOU! :rolleyes1 Happy Birthday Dear Corinne :rolleyes1 Happy Birthday to YOU! :rolleyes1 How old are you? :rolleyes1 LOL, :rotfl2:just kidding! :bday:party::rainbow::bday:

I can't explain, but that brought tears to my eyes...

Sadly, before MAW came into the picture, I had never even heard of GKTW. So now I'm kind of on a mission to tell everyone about this incredible place!

Glad you had a great birthday!

That was a neat story. Thank you for sharing. I glad you had a good birthday. I have a strong feeling those wishes and dreams are about to come true. Since our dates are so close together I feel like I am sharing this with you. I have read so many TR's but I do not think I have completely grasp the magic that is awaiting us. One day closer.

Your movie night sounded like so much fun!! Glitter you are a brave MOM. It is amazing how all of that can fly around the room. It is almost like magic itself. Looking forward to next week!

Let's just say that Christmas came to the Nash house early this year.
My mom called me today at work to tell me some good news.
Three packages arrived at her house today,
she kept them on the pourch so they would not be opened until I arrived home.

I tried to take this first picture of the packages with all it's pretty little Mickey Mouses on them,
but as you can see Liam decided to get into the picture.:lmao:
I Had picture posted here, but just relized that you could clearly see my address so I deleted it. Sorry.

First Liam Opened his gifts with excitment.

He recieved a Star Wars Outfit, a Spiderman Outfit, a Jack Sparrow T-shirt, a MNSSHP t-shirt, a Pirate of the Caribean towel, stickers, crayons, and tons of other stuff as you can see.
His favorite was a small treasure chest with assorted Pirate stuff.
At first he wasn't so excited about the cloths until I pointed out his name on everything
and of course the Star Wars set. He can't wait to wear it.

Next Aidan opened his.

biggive2015.jpg

He recived a cars t-shirt, a MNSSHP t-shirt (both with his name), a Finding Nemo towel
and various other toys and stickers. I made a mistake when I took the last pic, the sand toys were actually Mia's, so I put his sand toys with hers.:rotfl:
In the second picture you can see him pointing out Mickey Mouse. He loves Mickey and says his name several times a day.
It souds more like Mickey Moue.:rotfl2:

Mia was next.
biggive2013.jpg

biggive2017.jpg

She recieved a Cinderells t-shirt, a MNSSHP t-shirt (both with her name), a Princess towel,
and various other toys and gifts.
She loved everything.
As you can see that is Aidan's Sand toy.:rotfl2:

Last but not least it was my turn to open my package.

Of course my brother and I recieved t-shirts to MNSSHP (now we have a full set), tinker bell for me, Jack Skellington for him.
There was also 4 trick or treat bags, glow sticks, glow stick lanterns,
various halloween stickers, and a special princess magnet pad just for me.:cloud9:
