Ooh! Cous cous is a great idea! I love it. You can get it as a boxed mix in different flavors kind of like Rice A Roni. If you mixed in some cooked chicken, you'd have a meal right there. A little melon on the side, perhaps?
How about a Flying Carpet sandwich? You could trim bread into rectangles and pipe on peanut butter, nutella (a chocolate and hazelnut spread that's right by the peanut butter in the store) and a couple of different colors of jelly to make a design. Use a plastic bag with the corner cut off like you did for the mayo for your Sleeping Beauty subs. The heat from your hand should soften the peanut butter enough to make it go through the cut corner. If it's still too thick, mix in a tiny bit of vegetable oil until it's just thin enough. I think you might have to stir up the jelly before you put it in a bag in order to make it work. Otherwise I think you'll be stuck with a big clump of jelly that won't pipe. Bananas could be sliced into "golden coins" to which you could add a few fruit snack "jewels" or jello cut into little squares and that could be the treasure. If I remember correctly, they drink a very sweet mint tea in that part of the world. That might be fun if you think the kids would like it. I'm having a hard time thinking of a way to represent the lamp that wouldn't take a ton of work. Maybe yellow cup cakes with a piece cut from a straw for a spout on one side and the bendy section of the straw for the handle on the other side? And a little piece of candy or a fruit snack for the little knob on the top? I dunno. Maybe that's a stretch. It might work though.
Y'know, I might do a Disney movie and meal night just for fun too. Who says you have to be little in order to enjoy it?
