I'm shocked that they changed the sodas at Club Cool too! I'm so upset about it. I had read about it before our trip last week, and I prepared my husband for it too because he loves the watermelon one. I loved the apple one from Mexico. It was the ONLY one I drank because it was my favorite, and I couldn't find ANY that I liked after trying each one. I video-ed our reactions to it too to remember our initial reactions. We just rewatched it yesterday and got upset all over again! Oh, and unfortunately there was no Mezzo Mix either! If I couldn't have Lift from Mexico, I'd still enjoy the watermelon one. If not either of those, Mezzo Mix ... but NONE! So sad.

I have to say I'm jealous of your solo ride with Figment! When we ride it, NO ONE sings with us during the eye test!!! Haha, we would've belted it out if we were alone.

Luckily when I was last in NYC, the NY team brought in real NY bagels for us to have one morning... OH MY GOD. They blew my SOCKS OFF. I couldn't get over how amazingly good they were! I think I'm heading back to New York sometime in April for work and plan on eating another NY bagel!

I know you'll probably think I'm insane, but we are considering trading out MNSSHP for a night at California Grill... BUT watching HalloWishes from there. We're not 100% saying no to MNSSHP during our next trip, but it's a possibility that we're floating around.

I love Figment himself, I just didn't enjoy the ride. I think based on how much Matt loved Figment and Dreamfinder and that ride growing up, to have it change, made me sad. I just wish I'd experienced Dreamfinder at least once.

OH yay! So you're aware of the bagel situation out here. Very important.

Oh I could never sacrifice MNSSHP for anything, but I know it would be glorious to watch HalloWishes from CG! I really want to do that someday.

I really don't remember if I did Dreamfinder or not. What I do remember very well is the whole Wonders of Life Pavilion. I miss it so much!

YAY DINNER TIME AT THE CONTEMPORARY!

Those pictures of the sun of Heaven shining down on the Magic Kingdom are so so so breathtaking. Just wow. Seriously, I can't even deal, it's too majestic. I think it's a definite sign that you're where you're meant to be.

All your California Grill food looks delicious! I've never eaten there before, but on our next trip (whenever that is), we're planning on going there for sure. Your pictures are making me so excited, everything looks beyond incredible! Especially your dessert. OH MY GOD. I didn't even know combining all those foods was a thing, I MUST order that.

The watermelon soda is my favorite too, so I was so mad when they announced they were changing everything. I may or may not have spent an entire day ranting about it...
But what a shock to not even know about the change and to be expecting to be able to consume that fruity deliciousness only to have it not be there.

I'm so happy you and Jess were FINALLY reunited! Hooray for that princess reunion, because duh, that's what you both are.

Day 2, Part 1 In Which This Is Halloween, Everybody Make A Scene!!!!​

GOOD MORNING PLANET EARTH!!!! IT'S HALLOWEEN AND I'M IN DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!

AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



It was kind of unreal to me that I was at Walt Disney World two years in a row!

I am the luckiest girl ever... or at least that's how I felt. You see, Halloween is one of my absolute most favorite things in the whole world, and I have had a lot of bad ones. So this year and the one before have really made up for that and I could not be happier!

Jess had to go to class this morning so she could not join in the celebration... yet! This was one of her shorter days so we would be meeting up in a few hours.

The original plan for this day was to hit Hollywood early and then head over to Epcot as soon as World Showcase opened so I could experience a little of my beloved Food and Wine Festival. However I totally changed my plans because I remembered how adorable the characters were in their Halloween costumes from getting Stuck in Disney over last Halloween. I figured this was the last day the decorations would be up & they would be dressed like that so I wanted to catch them. The other reason is I wanted the huge Bat Cupcake!

I especially wanted to meet Pluto and Goofy in Dinoland. I had never met them in that location before, and Goofy was dressed as Cowboy. So obviously, this had to happen.

Once I arrived I noticed this sign.

UM, AWESOME!! I hate how there are no busses to DTD from parks, so I am happy they are trying this out.

I also saw this older couple all dressed up for the occasion.

Let me tell you, I saw SO MANY people in Halloween costumes at AK that day. It was so awesome to see just as many adults as kids in the spirit. PERFECTION.

The wilderness must be explored! That's the spirit!!

On Discovery Island, I noticed a PhotoPass photographer assigned in a spot where I'd never seen one before, so I waited for him to take pictures of me.

I am SO happy I stopped because he was so sweet! He just wanted to take more and more pictures.

(NOTICE MY AWESOME DISNEY HALLOWEEN SHIRT!!!!!!!!!)

He loved my shirt and pins (I was wearing my Nightmare lanyard with all Halloween themed pins, plus one of Walt for good measure), but was disappointed I didn't have any Tinkerbell. He was quite the Tinkerbell fan!

I also had bat clips in my hair. He was so impressed with me being all decked out for Halloween and we talked about how it is obviously the best holiday.

Of course we had to do a magic shot too!

I was happy when he told me to place my arms like that cause I knew it was for a Simba photo! I never had that magic shot done before so that was exciting. He asked if I knew what character was going to be in my arms and I said, "Yes, baby Simba!" I should just be a Photopass Photographer. I know all the shots.

Loved him! Thanks for being so nice and awesome, Photopass guy!

I just love all the little details around Discovery Island.

I saw this little log cabin in front of the Tree of Life, which I don't think I ever noticed before. There was a CM walking around it and then I spotted little monkeys playing all around! I could not get a picture for the life of me, though. It was crazy, they moved so fast and I missed them every time. They were so cute!

I went straight to Dinoland after that to get in line for Pluto and Goofy. Foolishly, I did not look at the Times Guide because I am a Disney know it all and trusted my assumption that they would be meeting at either 9:30 or 10. I don't know why I was so convinced! Turns out they weren't coming out til 11, so I had a good hour and a half. Oh well, I'M IN DISNEY so it turns out there were quite a few things I could do to fill this time!

I was gonna go look for my cupcake, but I figured that wouldn't be out until later as well, since I had been to Kusafiri early in the past and been told the cupcakes weren't ready yet. I didn't really know what I wanted to do, so I went on Primeval Whirl.

When in doubt... WHIRL!

There was no line and all the CMs working there seemed so happy and cheery even though they had basically nothing to do but stand there. They loved my Halloween shirt, pins, and earrings. I was really rocking the Halloween fashion and accessories today, I gotta say.

Here is my very convincing scared face.

LOL. Really though... the ride was much more intense than I remembered! I mean, still not anything to write home about, but it felt faster or something.

I was trying to take a Vine of the hilarious dinosaurs all around the ride, but I realized quite quickly that I might be saying goodbye to my phone if I held it up so it went right into my pocket.

Like Figment's ride, I enjoyed this one a lot more than usual. Maybe it was just my fantastic mood, I don't know. The thing is, I was much happier on this trip than I was on my last one. The whole thing had this extra coating of happiness over it, ON TOP OF the usual Disney magic, so I was just enjoying the heck out of every second.

After a quick stop in the restroom, I walked over to Everest.

As usual, I took 20 bazillion pictures of the entire area so I hope you enjoy them!

So just so I understand... People can dress up in the parks on Halloween? I know that can generally be taboo, so inquiring minds need to know.

LOVE your Halloween flair!! I have really never been much of a fan of Halloween, until I had Paxton. His birthday is exactly a week before Halloween, so now I just love the month of October more in general because of that. And now Halloween is so fun because I get to dress him up and have fun taking him to trick or treat! Doesn't hurt that the last two years we have been in Disney World leading up to Halloween...

Your face in the baby Simba photo is so cute! You are truly in awe of holding BABY FREAKING SIMBA!!

Man, I have not been on Primeval Whirl in forever, and I think it might be even longer before I try it if it seems faster!!! Can't wait to see the characters in costume!

Oh they definitely did... I kind of miss it though! I liked checking the site and seeing what was happening that week. Jess is lucky she was there for a lot of the little things that they did. I would have really enjoyed True Love Week, for instance.

Yes, full costumes are allowed in every park on Halloween and they are pretty lax about it the week around the holiday as well.

Thank you! That's such a cute story. I've heard from so many parents that having kids makes things like that so much more fun. When I have kids, Halloween is one of the biggest things I am looking forward to doing with them. All holidays really. My mom always made a big deal out of it and made it nice for me so I think it would be a lot of fun to do the same!

Ooooh AK on Halloween how unexpected and cool . Ugh! I know what you mean about the lack of buses to go from the parks to DTD. What's a girl to do at the end of the day when she wants to have dinner at WPE and has no other form of transportation?! Oh my goodness the little Indian couple were adorable....love it! I liked your Halloween shirt....was it a glow in the dark one? And um the earrings are my favorite . That's funny that you mentioned the difference on primeval, I have noticed that too and I wonder if it has to do with the weight inside the vehicle thing. It seems like when we had more weight it was smoother and more controlled but with less people or weight we were being whipped around and banging against the sides more often...which seems to be more fun and painful at the same time lol. Awesome EE pics, especially the ones with the colored flags, those are favorites! Great update Lia and cannot wait to hear more my dear!!!
