Lgmh

In a recent conversation I was having with OregonMickeyLover I mentioned bringing a LGMH, aka Lime Green Mickey Head. Soon after our conversation I got to thinking that I had not heard mention of one in a really long time. So, I was wondering does anyone besides me take their LGMH anymore or is it pretty much a thing of the past?

I do! I always wear it on my purse but I have yet to see another one or for anyone to say anything to me. But I keep trying!

I don't have one (yet!), but I saw another guest with one at Ariel's Grotto on our trip in November of '08.
I said hello, but was too shy to chat too much!
I would like to have one ready for our trip in December, and I will keep my eyes peeled for other Dis'ers!

I have one made of FIMO on a keychain attached to my mini backpack that I wear in the park. No one has ever said anything to me about it, but I still wear it.

I plan on wearing mine when I go Thanksgiving week on my Perry the Platypus bag. I am actually very excited to wear it as this will be the first trip I have done so and will be looking for it on others at the parks.

I want to make one for our upcoming trip ... only problem is that I'm not very crafty ... I'm thinking a piece of craft foam with 3 circles ... does that sound right? I loved the picture of the beaded "keychain" with the persons DIS name on it --- that I think I can do!! Attaching it to my bag is also a great idea ... and now I need to look at everyone else's bag!!

I still wear mine It is always on my lanyard or I will clip it to my backpack if I don't feel like wearing the lanyards. I have never seen anyone else with one with the exception of the Diva trip.

i hate to be a relative newb, but what is a LGMH, and what is the purpose?

I had one on my hat and my lanyard for our trip this summer (July 11) and I didn't see any but I will keep wear them for future trips

Yes - we all chat to each other on here, some people think it would be nice to chat in person if we cross each others paths. So that wilL ID you as a Dis'er.

Thanks for the responses! I am glad to know that I am not alone and that I still stand a chance of running into somebody wearing one! I have seen 2 or 3 others wearing theirs in the park but it has been several years ago. Anyway, we'll be at Disneyland in 7 days (November 1-11) so if anybody is there during that time be sure to say hello if you see me. My LGMH is getting a little bruised and batter and has even lost a few beads but it still does the trick. Here's a picture.

I printed mine out on the computer using this pattern:

I copy and pasted the Dis Board logo on some and my screen name on others. I then put them back to back so it had my screen name on one side and the logo on the other. Of course, the font is Waltograph.

Last July I knew for a fact that several other Disers would be at CCI at the same time and I still never ran in to anyone. Oh well, I keep trying.

mariezp, that is a fantastic design using the beads!!!!! I have been trying to figure out how to "juice up" my LGMH and with your picture and some others I have seen on the threads that have been popping up lately, I have some great ideas. Thank you!!! I wish I could say hi to you and thank you in person, but I will be missing you by just about a week. I hope you have a great trip!

We'll be there for part of your trip! (Nov 3 - 6) I have one attached to the stroller, but haven't ever attached one to my person...that may have to change.

This is the first time I have heard about this. Too bad. I would have done it for our last two trips. Maybe this thread needs to be bumped every month or so to keep the newbies informed. We might see more people with them in the parks when we go.

Alien Green no/ Sonic Green yes ... and of course when I got there they had NO Sonic Green ONLY Alien Green ... so if anyone sees me in December I will be the one with the ALIEN GREEN LGMH ... and will be on constant look out for others!

Well, actually, Alien Green is the right color! But really it doesn't matter that much. If a Disser sees a green MH, they are going to know what it means.
