LGMH... Anyone still use em?

Just wondering is anyone still uses their LGMH at DL. I don't hear much about them on the boards anymore. Is it because HD stopped supplying them?

I still wear my LGMH on the back of my backpack where every I go to any Disney theme park. I just don't see too many people have them on their bags or they are just hard to find on the bags when I walk around with the thousands of people around us.

We use a custom mickey shape design to make nice ones. Like this one.

Just wondering what LGMH is, didn't see it in the abbreviations list and I am confused

LGMH = Lime Green Mickey Head


It's come to be a symbol that a lot of DISers use at the parks to identify each other.

I made my own & normally I carry them with me.

Home Depot used to offer color swatches in the shape of Mickey heads for their Disney paints. They were the perfect size to make bag tags or name tags. They probably got tired of restocking the Lime Green color and they ended up reverting back to the regular square swatches.

I'll have mine on in August, but I've never seen anyone else with one there, and no one has commented on mine. But you never know.

I didn't realize HD stopped carrying them. I picked one up a couple yrs ago, but never did anything w/ it. WIsh I would have saved it and grabbed more. Now, I'll never take the time to do one.

Well, if I see yours in a few weeks it will be the first one in at least 6 trips in the past few years to both DL and WDW. I don't know if it counts if I see it when I know I will be meeting you!

I have had mine on a couple times this last year. But I have never been approached or seen anyone with one either. I do see quite a bit of lime green apparel lol but would feel weird asking hey you wearing that color because you are a DISer

I am a DISer. I do sometimes have my LGMH attached to myself somewhere- mine are laminated, with "PERI" printed on them. NEver had anyone approach me but did arrange to meet a fellow DISer at WDW a few years back - that was fun!!

Our HD here had LGMH's still just 2 weeks ago....I picked up some when we decided we were going to DL a few months ago!

I have literally been to 6 different Home Depots in the last 2 weeks (remodel at home and at my job) and they have a combo of Micky Heads and regular samples at all of them. I checked and stocked up on all colors for a countdown! I hope that just some of them are out and they don't all go away!

I'm going to try making a LGMH hair barrette charm/etc. out of glitter felt and see how that goes. I found it's nearly impossible to view a LGMH on a bag/etc. unless there's a lot of open space around, which will not be the case when I go.
