LG appliances

Does anyone own this brand? I looking for opinions, especially their ranges.

LG sure has made a name for themselves in a fairly short time period. I don't know of their appliances, but if their cell phones indicate anything, I would say they are good.

I have been researching new appliances for MONTHS and am NOT going with LG based on what I have read -
although i do love my free little LG phone!

I have a set of LG/Tromm front loading washer and dryer. We've had them almost two years and they're great. My only gripe with the dryer has to do with our venting, and not the dryer itself.

LG is big in Europe, they've been around there for years.

I have an LG microwave and I've had it for about 3+ years and still going strong. I love it because it's actually curved on the inside (no corners) which makes cleaning the inside of the microwave so much easier.

We also have an LG front load washer and dryer, they are GREAT!!!

I've had an LG fridge for 2 years....seems fine to me. I got it at Manny's.

my DH works for an appliance parts supplier and he will not let me purchase any LG products other than their cell phones. I guess they make their parts pretty cheaply but price them very high so the parts break easily and often and it costs and arm and a leg to replace them. It's very hard appliance shopping with a guy who knows how much each part inside the appliance costs to replace, grrrr!
