Just got word that my cousin's stem cell transplant back in January has completely knocked out her leukemia.

It takes quite a while for them to determine if the transplant "takes". We now know that it did. She had a rough time of it for awhile, but is now cancer free and ready to make a trip to the West coast to celebrate.:Pinkbounc

That's sooo good to hear. Hope your cousin has a nice trip!!:sunny:

A friend's husband had one almost 20 years ago and he has been cancer free with NO problems since. Congratulations.

That's wonderful news!

I hope she enjoys her trip.

It's especially sweet for her since she beat Hodgkin's disease 10 years ago. She's a tough woman.:D

That sure is good news, GH, so happpy to hear that. Thanks for sharing the good news, may she stay well and enjoy a nice long life.
