Letters from Characters

I read a post the other day about writing a letter from the characters and leaving them each morning as if they were delivered under the door--
thought this was a great idea but then the anal part of me knew I would obsess too much about designing etc
UNTIL today at the Dollar Store-- I hit gold-- I found stationery sets for 50 cents that came with the cutest paper and matching envelopes so I bought Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, Cars & Princesses--
And of course now can't find the thread about it--
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I am pretty sure it had links to some great ideas
