I've heard that you can send in a request of some sort to have things sent to your room and be ready and waiting when you arrive. We will be going in June as a part of 8 and my aunt's friend, who is 70, has never been to WDW and is a big kid at heart. I know he would be ecstatic to get one of those personalized welcoming letters from Mickey. I know they do them for kids, but if I just requested one for him and made it "seem" like he was a kid....how do I make this request and where do I send it? Thanks!

Call your resort. When we left WL, my daughter gave a letter she had written to Mickey to the front desk. A few days later, she got a great signed picture of Mickey in the mail at home. The CM's at your resort can do wonders!

I would call the front desk and tell them about your friend. I find it enganging that a young man of 70 years is still a kid at heart and I am sure that a well trained CM would think that also. My DD was 17 on her last trip to DW and she got a birthday card singed by Mickey and the gang and she still has it in one of her scrap books.

After all the guide books, web sites, threads....I've never heard of this before. My DD's would love it! Has anyone ever had it done at CR? Anyone requested a letter and been disapointed?
