Letter from Mickey at WL?

On our first trip to WDW, we stayed at the Contemporary, and I requested a letter for our daughter from Mickey. When we got to our room, there was a signed picture from Mickey, a balloon, and a stuffed Minnie doll.

We are staying at the WL in April, and I was wondering if anyone has requested this kind of thing there, and what the resukts were - thanks!

Where/how did you make this request? At check-in? Was there a charge for it? What a cute idea!

adding myself to the thread- great idea!

The last 2 times our room was ready for us when we checked in there wouldn't have been time to put anything in the room.

I know at GF,BW and CR you can have the chocolate Top Hat Mickey statue delivered, surrounded by tuxedo strawberries.

You can ask CRO for a letter from Mickey when you arrive - they have options for first trip or something like magical trip.

When I did it before, we checked in and but didn't go to our room until the afternoon. It was waiting there when we arrived - very nice too.
