letter from Coronado - Closing pool

Just received a letter from Disney that the Maya Dig Pool will be closed from December 15 to December 19th, 2003.
The 3 remains pools will stay open.

My stay at CSR is starting on December 19 and I am disappointed that I wont be able to go in the Maya site which is fabulous and so nice on the first day.

I think the first day of my trip will be the only one where I can enjoy that pool. The others days will be in the parks.

Did someone else received the same letter.

Hmmm.... We received a letter saying it would be closed from Dec 1 - 5. Wonder what they are doing?

I'm staying the 11th to the 18th & I have not gotten any letter. What IS going on?? The pool was a big factor for us choosing CSR. Did any of the letters mention the hot tub?

Just Got off the phone with Disney. THe POOL will be closed
from dec 15th to dec 19th. All other moderates have no rooms
left for discounted rooms. Now I'm bummed !!!!!!!

We stayed at the Polynesian in 2000 while the Volcano pool was under rehab and we were given a poolhopper pass to be able to swim in any other pool on the property. The quiet pool at the Poly was still open, but we were also able to try out the GF pool while our kids went on the pirate cruise and Stormalong Bay, too. Maybe Disney will offer you something similar?
