Just something you might like to know...if you watch the Gatun locks webcam, you may be able to see the Magic as its approaching Miraflores. It will be off in the distance, but it's possible. Also, don't forget that Miraflores has the high-resolution webcam to see uptight pix.

First I put my cursor over the pic and right click my mouse to save the pic, then I load the pics into my webshots account then just link the pics to my post.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that with the view the webcam has of the Miraflores locks, the Magic will be approaching from the bottom of the screen, so we won't actually see her approach, right?

I watched the video they have on the site with the Magic coming Westbound in May 2005, and on that one you could see the ship approach, so I'm assuming that going Eastbound, the ship will appear at the bottom of the screen already in the locks, and then we will see her exit the locks and pull away towards the top of the screen.

I just want to make sure I'm not watching the approaching ships thinking that it might be the Magic.

ETA: Nevermind, they just changed the orientation of the webcam!

Just insisted Dh hook up a PC to our High Def TV...now I have an even better bigger picture.....lol...I'm as sad as the rest of yous..

But not a bad way to spend a day off!!!

And in meantime found great price Virgin flights for my next cruise.next May..so happy happy!

Not as happy as all of those folks on board the magic right now thought....woo hoo Andrew! Take loads pics for us all

Today, sitting at the computer waiting for the Magic to arrive on the Panama Canal webcam, next Monday morning I could be watching the Magic sail up the Port Canaveral channel while I am waiting to get on the Magic!!!
