Since I can't seem to find the search function on these boards anymore...:rolleyes:If you were going to eat at one signature restaurant (Citricos, Jiko, Flying Fish, Yachtsman, Cali Grill, Narcoosee's, Artist Point), where would you go? Thanks!

Jiko, hands down. The food is really good, great selection and high quality with good use of spices and flavors.

We are planning Narcoossee's even though i want to try Jiko someday.

That depends what kind of food you prefer. Being a huge seafood fan, for me it's Flying Fish hands down. If you want a steak I would go for Jiko, if you're looking for class with elegant food and a great view you want California Grill. If you're looking for sheer elegance of atmosphere, someplace that will make you feel like a VIP and that has great elegant food, you want Citraco...

I highly recommend each and every one of them.

I've eaten at all of them many times and my favorite rotates. My current fave is Flying Fish.

My current least fave is Narcoosees.

Within our group who go to Disney we have eaten in Jiko, YSH and Citricos. My favourite was Jiko. It was different and the service was top notch. Our server at the YSH developed an attitude when we said we didn't want wine, then our orders were cooked and plated wrong and then our server pretty much tried to avoid us at all costs after they overheard our discussion about how bad the experience was (No "Did you enjoy your meal?" for us that night). Then the server circled the tip section of the receipt (And not just a little circle, try scrawled continually). Even though the meal was considerably substandard, we would never have left less than the 20%, we always tended to leave good tips even when gratuities were included!!! We seriously considered complaining but our party did not want to ruin other diner's experience as we don't think we could have expressed our selves without upset because we were so angry.
Enough ranting though!! Jiko gets a thumbs up for food, atmosphere and service!!

I'm a sushi lover, so I'd pick California Grill if I could only do one. We loved our meal there, the view is spectacular, and the sushi is heavenly!

ETA: We've tried California Grill, Narcoosees, Artist Point, Yachtsman Steakhouse, and CRT (which I don't really count as signature). Of those, California Grill was my fave and Narcoosees was my lobster-loving DH's fave. Artist Point was a close second for both of us. Yachtsman was good but nothing really special, and too much like steakhouses we enjoy here at home to warrant a repeat visit.

We're going back to CG, Narcoosees, and AP on our upcoming trip and trying Flying Fish and Brown Derby for the first time.

Loved Jiko! We plan to go back next trip!

We have only eaten at Jiko & Cali Grille and really enjoyed both but I would put the food at Jiko slightly ahead. We are planning to try Citricos, Flying Fish & Artist Point next trip!

Of the one's I have dined at:

Artist Point: very good, but I loved the buffalo steak which isn't there anymore. Now it's buffalo short ribs, gross. AP does hold true to it's host resorts theme though, Wilderness Lodge, there is a bit of game meat such as venison and boar, for me it's fine because I always wanted to try these things and I was not disappointed. It's not in the plan for this year unless they bring back the buffalo steak... if not, it'll wait until 2010.

California Grill: the food was good, I always love a place that says yes to "hold the mushrooms" and they did from my goat cheese ravoli. The server we had was the best of all the WDW servers we've entcountered, only the AP server could come in a close second. And I love that they are used to delivering meals around Wishes.

Narcoosssee's: this is my favorite WDW restaurant. The service has never disappointed, the food is wonderful (especially the dessert), it's the most gorgeous restaurant imo (go when it's dark if possible), it's best when coming from MK... just take the short GF boat ride and you're there.

Jiko: the only signature I don't plan on returning to in a long time. The food was ok, would have been better if I didn't waste 2 TS pp on it. I am a cook medium steak eater but my mom likes it well done... it was burnt. It's really ashame because this was the restaurant I was really looking forward to trying.

Yachtsman Steakhouse: the dessert here is sooooo good. I like the feel of this restaurant, it's very welcoming to me (minus the little steak room). The staff is nice, the patrons are much more professional as is the resort and they know their steak here. Plus they have a good bearnaise, which I love.

Hollywood Brown Derby: if you're not looking to get the most bang for your buck, you'll enjoy HBD. I say this because the prices are overall the lowest for a signature restaurant. It's pretty good and worth it especially if you want to utilize the Fantasmic Dining Package.

I can't comment on Citricos or Flying Fish until October 2009 since we'll be eating there during our next trip.

If I had to pick one, it would be Narcoossee's but for someone unfimiliar with signature dining I would pick California Grill and plan it around Wishes.

Not a signature restaurant but Bistro de Paris is my favorite restaurant on property. Great food, awesome atmosphere. . .pricey but definitely worth it.

I've eaten at all of them many times and my favorite rotates. My current fave is Flying Fish.

My current least fave is Narcoosees.

That's funny. I've eaten at all of them and these two are my favorites, with Narcoose being #1 and Flying Fish #2. .:rotfl:
