We stayed at the Poly Concierge last November and really enjoyed it.
One of the best things about our experience was being able to go to our room and relax before even checking in. When we arrived, the bell person called and got our room number and since it was on the opposite end of the building from the check-in area, he took us in that door and right to our room.
A close second was being able to go to the lounge and grab breakfast or water for the parks. The food offerings in the morning were more than sufficient for breakfast (pastries, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, milk, juice, etc.). Mid-day they had huge cookies, gummi-worms, and drinks. During dinner time they had things like nachos and veggies. Sorry I can't be more specific, but Tikiman's website can give you more details. In the evening there were desserts and liquor.
I did not find the desk staff particularly friendly. We did not receive our lais (sp?) at check-in and had to go back. They rarely spoke, but we really didn't care very much.
In general, I found the Poly very relaxing. It was very nice to be able to sit out on the beautiful beach and look-out at the wonderful sights. It made me feel like I was in the tropics. I would definitely recommend the Poly Concierge to anyone (especially at a discount).
