Let's talk charcuterie boards

I just found out about the beef fat candle on the board at Le Cellier. I'm intrigued. And the giant pretzel board at Jock Lindsay's has me drooling. So, who's got them? We'll be heading to Disney World in December and I want to try them all.

Is it worth it to get the cheese and meat board, or save the money and get the cheese only?

Chefs de France wasn’t bad.

I know Akershus technically isn’t a charcuterie board, but the meat and cheese spread they offer is amazing!

We always get both and a couple of apps to go with it. It's very filling and I enjoy apps more than a meal most times.

We had a nice one at Via Napoli a few weeks ago. It had a few different meats (prosciutto, salami, and maybe mortadella) and some cheeses including their fresh mozzarella, plus some olives, nuts, and fruits (grapes, dried apricots & cranberries). It was pricey but easily shareable.

My favorite was at Raglan Road, but it has not been on their pandemic-limited menu. Hoping they restore their charcuterie board to the menu soon.

There is an employee who makes them and delivers them to roper in the Orlando area. It’s called Journey Across the Board. They will deliver too!

DH and I love the boards, or tapas, or just a couple appetizers to share... We haven't been to Wine Bar George except once right after they first opened... and I can't remember what we had, and it really was just okay,... I think that we will have to make a point to check it out again.

Raglan Road has changed up theirs a few times, last time it really wasn't all the good, just not the quality, and the price did not match up this was before the pandemic happened... I don't mind paying for something as long as the quality matches the price... Hopefully they will rethink it, and offer something close to the ones that they in the beginning when they first opened...

If it's open when you go, the wine bar at Italy in Epcot has a couple of good ones (can't remember the name). There used to be a good one at HBD in HS but they don't have it on the smaller menu, don't know if they will bring it back or not. The little wine store in Germany has a very small one you can get while tasting wine. There is a really good one at Topolinos.
