Let's talk about My Points e-mails

I just got into MyPoints thanks to being a BzzAgent. I click on all of the My Points e-mails I get, and at least go to the websites of each of the advertisements to get the 5 points. So far I haven't subscribed to any of the advertisements----have any of you?? I have done a few of the surveys, but they don't come often.

Is there a better, faster way to get points? I don't shop on-line much and at the rate I'm going just clicking a few 5 point e-mails a day, it'll take me 10 years to get enough points for anything

Occasionally I shop through them, usually when there's a good point offer and around Christmas. I've also signed up for newsletters, done surveys but most of my points are through the 5 pt click e-mails and I've done quite well. Also, you'll notice that at times you get more e-mails than others, especially around Christmas.

I've done some of the offers- like the political action one, the free trial of Rhapsody, something for vitamins, etc- and I shop through them when I am doing online shopping. There might be better rewards on other sites, but I get too confused and can't remember if it is better to use ebates, mypoints, etc etc and then end up using none of them. . .so I decided to just stick with mypoints and get what I get.

If you do the free trials, you have to be really organized to be sure you cancel in time if you don't plan on keeping it. The Rhapsody one ended while I was on vacation and I forgot to cancel it, so I had to pay for a month of service.

With the bzzagent conversion and the other stuff I have used it for, I have 25,000 points since November 2007. I am saving up the points for Christmas, and hope to cut down my out of pocket expense this year!!!!
