:) One time we were getting ready to go on MIB, Raj looked at the 2 of us, dead pan, and asked, "Do you know the Muffin Man?"

I cracked up, but Mike said, "I don't know him, but I've heard of him."

I don't know where that came from, but we just thought it was so funny! :goodvibes

:) This past trip, the TMs on Dueling Dragons were trying to set a record as to how many loads they could run in an hour, with only one car each operating for the Fire and Ice tracks. They would time each load and declare Fire or Ice the winner and announce their loading "scores" (e.g, 100 seconds, Ice, 105 seconds Fire). The record was 17 loads (I think) in an hour, and they were really trying to beat it. One time they announced to Fire that they just waited as long as they could, but they were sending Ice on its way without Fire because Fire was just taking too long. Later they "forgave them" because they learned Fire had 4 child swaps and Ice had none, but then they encouraged the next load on Fire to load as quickly and safely as they could because the "last load" set Fire behind. The TMs were so funny, it made it SOOO much to wait in line!

:) Another time we were on MIB, and a little kid who was seated and ready to go on the ride took out her gun and shot the TM Jimmy. Jimmy held up the ride and called for everyone's attention. While holding his stomach, he pointed to the little girl and yelled he'd been shot and he wasn't letting the ride go until she apologized. Only the stiffies weren't laughing!

Please share your stories. :teeth:

Not long after ROTM opened we were queuing to get on. We'd reached the front of the queue and were waiting for the car to unload. A CM came up to me, totally in character and just stared right at me. I stared right back and we had a staring competition for about 30 seconds. He then let me get in the car (front row, first time!) but before he did he said something like "Your soul is ours now. There is no escape" in this really creepy way.

It was awesome :rotfl:

(You probably had to be there as I'm not very good at telling stories, but I thought it was fun at the time!)

On the mummy one year, every time we went on it, the TMs said NIH! NIH! (this is from monty pythons holy grail for the people who are now scratching their heads). We always offered them a shrubbery.

Did you make it a point to visit Roger the shrubber? :lmao:

On Dr Doom, my dad and I were waiting for the doors to open so we could get on the ride and I was chatting away and my dad was just staring at me. Finally he says 'Gemma, turn round' so I do and theres a TM dressed totally scary. Well I got the shock of my life and screamed and ran away. The TM chased after me!! So theres me squeeling as loud as my lungs could running around and round the ride past all of the other people waiting to be seated!! My dad was laughing his head off.

Maybe you had to be there but that totally terrified me

There was also an incident on ROTM where a woman chased me with a rubber spider, once again theres me running and screaming absolutly terrified (its always me!!! why do I attract them!!)

My father decided he didn't want to get soaked while riding Popeye so he boarded the ride, took off his sneakers, socks and then his shirt. As he was stuffing them in the middle a TM approached him and asked if he'd like a bar of soap and some shampoo, he was dancing around and scrubbing in the bath as he asked!

At the Gory Make-Up show this week the TM was hiding behind the door and as people entered she followed them and tapped them on the shoulder with the bloody arm prop. She was having a grand old time and so were we watching her!

The TM's down in Mummy have a fun time scaring the crap out of people in the express line as you come around one of the corners.

You're back? :wave2: Can't wait to hear all about your trip. :listen:

On our last visit the TMs at The High in the Sky Seuss
Trolley Train Ride were trying to send out every train completely loaded. No empty seats at all. This led for a bit of confusion as they were trying to accomplish this without splitting groups, which meant they were have to take people out of order. They had so much positive energy & seemed to be having so much fun doing their job, noone minded. Incidentally, this was also the ride where we got our 1st ever "Mummy/ pixie dust" at any of the parks, after numerous visits to all. These TMs were just happy to be there, & they were spreading the love all around. :)

Fun stories!

the only TM story I have is at one fish two fish, where it was a hot day and as we watched the ride from in line, we kept getting squirted, it was the TM with a water gun.

The funniest TM I've ever came across was the hilarious Skipper we had on Jaws a few years ago. He added some great one liners to the script and just about the entire boat had tears in their eyes from laughing so hard. For the first time ever, in the boathouse, I was actually scared! He started doing the song from Friday the 13th (I think)...the one that sounds like "kill, kill, now now". So I was busy laughing and I actually jumped at all the noises. Also, when the fire is across the water, he put his hands up together and slowly moved them apart as if he had the special power to make the fire disappear:rotfl: He said some other stuff, too. But those were my favorites. I know Skippers are supposed to stick to the script, but I really enjoyed it when he added his own stuff in, too. In fact, since then, I have yet to be placed on a boat with a skipper HALF as fantastic as he was!
