Let's Stay somewhere cheap.... like the Deluxes! (Updated 10/03!)

So my dad made a wonderful discovery when he went to go order the tickets. For 13 extra dollars, we got a 4th park day!

So now comes the part where I need your help. I have a few options as to what to do with my ticket.

I posted my itinerary a few pages back. I have one full free day on Saturday and one half day on Sunday. I hope to get to MK by 4 on Sunday for the party. So I need your opinions on which of these options I should go with.

1. I am not going to DHS on this trip so I would use my extra day on Saturday to head over there

2. Use my extra day on Saturday to go a third day at Epcot for more food and wine yummy goodness, although the crowds will be crazy

3. Use my extra day to go to Animal Kingdom again

4. Use my extra day to spend all day Sunday in Magic Kingdom

5. Use my extra day on saturday and hop on whatever park bus comes first

So which one would you guys do?

But...EPCOT....

And HS is a must for us. But maybe MK?

Ok so I have another update for you all! But first it involves a personal vent haha. So I recently discovered that for my past 2 trip (Oct. 2011 and Feb 2013) within a month of the trip I had had to have gone in for a small surgery. Oct. 2011 was for my jaw and February 2013 I had to have some small uterine polyps removed as they thought it was causing my anemia. This time was a little different and I had to go in for a “surgery” but it was just a colonoscopy. I still had low iron and low b12 and my doctor was concerned I had an issue absorbing and processing certain vitamins.

So after a few years with weird vague symptoms that no one could figure out what they lead to, someone finally found out what it was. Hopefully. Turns out I have the beginning stages of ulcerative colitis and now need to be monitored for 6 months. And I have to go back on the super expensive fancy medicines because it’ll put it into remission. LUCKILY I qualify for a discount program through the pharmacy company so its not as bad. Just annoying. But its only for 4 months hopefully!

So onto bigger happier brighter shinier things. It is now 3 weeks to my trip. Its also finally fall here so I got to pack up all my shorts and t shirts ( at least just the Disney ones) into my back pack so I took a picture for you guys to see what I’ll be wearing. If you want me to take any individual pictures of the shirts, or if you can’t figure out what something says just ask. I couldn’t think of a good way to fit them all in.


I also planned out our fast pass+ selections so I have those for you guys!

So our schedule is:

Wednesday we fly out of Boston at about 7:15 and land in Orlando at around 10:55 so we’ll get to Disney around 12 ish. Grab our check in packets as we did online check in. and then wait for Aunt to fly in from Newark. She should be in around 1. So from there we’ll head to Epcot

So we have fast passes for Soarin, Test Track, and Living Seas with Nemo and friends. I got the nemo one because Fast Pass+ asked me if I was sure I only wanted 2 fast passes and I guess I wasn’t…. only cuz they asked so nicely haha and might as well.

So We have:

Soarin’ from 3:25-4:25

Living Seas with Nemo and Friends from 5-6

And Test Track between 6-7

So after test track we’re going to hop on the Monorail and head over to the Poly to go to our 8:30 reservations at ‘Ohana. I figure if we get there early we can just hang out at the Tambu lounge and explore the hotel.

After dinner we’ll just head back to the Boardwalk and probably go to bed as travel days are exhausting.

Day 2 is epcot part 2. So we’re doing rides in the morning in Future world, then spending the rest of the day hopefully in World Showcase eating yummy things and trying new foods. So I have us planned for test track, soarin’ and Spaceship earth, because once again they nicely asked if I would like to have 3 fast pass+ to my name and I felt weird saying no.

So for that we have:

Soarin'® 9:05 - 10:05 am

Test Track® Presented by Chevrolet® 10:20 - 11:20 am

Spaceship Earth 11:50 - 12:50 pm

I’m also going to try out the Chase Lounge and see if we can get illuminations viewing bracelets with my Disney Visa. See how that goes

Day 3 which is friday, we’re heading to Animal Kingdom, so I booked The safari, Dinosaur, and Expedition Everest. These got more spread out because we had the whole day and I wasn’t under a huge time constraint like the others, so we have

Kilimanjaro Safaris® 10:00 - 11:00 am

Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain® 1:25 - 2:25 pm

DINOSAUR 2:55 - 3:55 pm

Day 4 is Saturday, in which I am going to be going to Downtown Disney and Tren-D and hitting up the Christmas store and baby cakes as I have a slight gluten and worse dairy intolerance and really shouldn’t be eating as much gluten as I do…. But I can’t help myself. But I really want to try their cupcakes… however upon further examination it appears the boardwalk bakery has some of their products so I am now incredibly excited.

However this is the day when 2nd mom and Aunt can go to DHS if they would like, as 2nd mom keeps indicating that she would like to go there. However, I have no real need to go back ,as I was just at DHS in February and had my fill. So If they want me to reschedule their fast passes for MK for this day I’m all set, but I just know I’m doing a whole day at MK on Sunday like Tina suggested haha

So Sunday is our last park day and I’m going out with a bang spending all day at MK. No one else has to join me but that’s what I’ll be doing. I have fast passes for the mountains. So they go as such.

Space Mountain® 10:30 - 11:30 am

Splash Mountain® 12:30 - 1:30 pm

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad® 1:30 - 2:30 pm

So I’m gonna try and pack my costume and stuff it in a locker, or if I have enough time, sneak back to the hotel and come back. It depends on my mood (and how much a locker is.. I don’t remember)


So at 4 I plan on getting my bracelet and putting my costume on, and at 6:45 we have reservations at Be Our Guest. Which I know takes away from party time, but I really want to go here. So we’re gonna try to aim for the 2nd parade instead of the 1st and catch hallowishes. My mom is the most excited for this day and keeps singing the parade song whenever I bring it up. I’m also really excited as Halloween and Christmas are my two favorite holidays so I’m glad to go to a party. I want to get SotMK cards, but I’m nnot sure how they work or if it’ll take a lot of time to play when I mostly just want to ride rides. So we’ll see how that goes.

So as of right now those are my updated and more filled out plans! I can’t believe today is 20 days! I got a leSportSac it’s a small Wolrld purse today. I’ll take a picture when it gets here. It says 10-15 days to ship so hopefully!
