Let's skip school to vacation!

Does your child have to stand on my table to see?! How many children fit on my table? Enough to annoy me.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:too funny!

Love your updates & would love to see pics when you return!

I may have to put my computer in the shop! This can be so aggravating. When I tested photos before my trip, I had no troubles.

I just wanted to add a note about school. On Monday, April 28, school was dismissed early for bad weather and was cancelled completely on Tuesday for tornadoes. So he only missed 3 1/2 days of school.

I agree with the pp who said it makes you a good mom especially going w/ your mom! I love the pic of her with the Egyptian dude!:thumbsup2

Is that pic of your son on the couch when he was little taken at the Nick hotel? We have stayed there before and it looks familiar.

Enjoying and looking forward to more!!:goodvibes

Good eye! Yes that was the Nickelodeon Hotel. He was more impressed with the hotel than the parks at that age. He still needs his swim breaks, even at thirteen.

I appreciate the feedback. Sometimes I wonder if anyone is out there.

Well it was Tuesday and we were staying in Orlando until Saturday and Mother is starting to get sunburned. What was I going to do? She is burning straight thru the sunscreen. Her little head is getting red too. Then the rain came. So many people have expressed concern over the amount of rain we got on vacation. It was a Godsend! We just put those little plastic drapes on and kept on going.

Tuesday, the rain started right after we moved to Disney's Boardwalk Villas. I rented points to stay here, a great tip I picked up from the Disboards. Now, I always rent from the same guy. This time he actually was low on points; he set me up with his cousin.

We went to Disney Quest in Downtown Disney

Isn't she cute?

How did you like DisneyQuest? We have never been.

Yes, the rain does help cool things down a bit!::yes::

My son loved it. It's mostly an arcade that is prepaid. There is a couple of interactive games that are very different, like pirates of the Carribian. You're fighting Blackbeard for treasure. One person is captain, the others scurry back and forth between canons, trying to sink ships. Pretty fun. There is a class several times a day on how to draw characters. Murl likes to design a rollercoster and ride it. Also there is a concession stand on one of the floors.

DQ sounds cool. Maybe we can try it sometime. :thumbsup2

The pricing on Disney stuff is weird. Through undercover tourist, a 4 day park hopper was $348, add water parks and more for $3 more, make it a 5 day park hopper with water park and more option-$368. Once they get your initial money, stay and play for a few dollars more. If you just buy a ticket to DQ, it's very expensive. But I like it as an add on.
