I had one of those non-reading 5yo tour guides for MVMCP last year- she did know the map symbol for the 'free' cookies. :rolleyes1

My son the tour guide - he was only 5 when this was taken, and couldn't read a blessed word of the map, but he was determined to lead. LOL

I'm about halfway through and have to ask - is anyone else reading this with anticipation AND anxiety?

I keep expecting to see a picture of myself on here. :scared:

I wore really high wedge shoes to Epcot the night we went to dinner at Narcossee's (9/24) and people were turning around to stare at my shoes. We were only in epcot for about an hour before our dinner ressie...and considering I run 25+ miles a week and teach 6 hour long group exercise classes...walking in heels for an hour is no biggie to me...

finally my friend started making loud comments to people who were staring at my shoes...honestly who knows what people's schedules are so seeing people wearing high heels is not a big deal to me...

This was taken on our way out of Animal Kingdom.

Did she have no friends or family willing to tell her that her skirt was see through before she headed out that morning? :confused3

Since the son and daughter's backsides are obviously wet as well, don't you think she just didn't think before she went on KRR? And then took her shoes off to avoid blisters? Granted, it's funny as heck that she appears to be either eating or sniffing her shoes. And in this situation, I think I'd have that bag behind my back as I walked.

That's what I thought too. She'd probably be mortified if she knew that her derriere was on public display. I'm thinking that bag she's carrying would be behind her instead of in front! :surfweb:

I'm almost surprised not to see our family on this thread. Me DS(13) and DD(17) were walking out of Epcot on 8/30 holding our shoes in our stocking feet. I started it and the kids joined in.

Did someone say its illegal to be barefoot in public in Florida? What a strange law.

Maybe person meant illegal to be barefoot in public places (amusement parks, restaurants, etc)? Ya know, no shoes, no shirt, no service!;)

We Floridians might be weird from the sun frying our brains but it is perfectly legal to go barefoot ;) . Businesses can refuse you service on their private property but there aren't 'footwear police' that will cite you a ticket if you are got sans shoes on public right-of-way. :)

I don't see the big deal either. I think the people staring were just jealous because your shoes were much cuter than theirs ;)

Vital,
We will be at the same MNSSHP. If your counter is pointing to the 10/26 MNSSHP, then we will be there also. What will you be dressed as? My DD is going to be Gabriella from HSM. I was thinking of going as Coach Bolton.

My son will be Anikan *sp* and I'll just have a Halloween shirt on. We are getting on a 7 day Disney cruise the next morning so we'll be dressing up as pirates one night. I woulda loved to dress up for MNSSHP but want to be comfortable as we'll have a long week ahead of us!

The ladder shot is great- it reminded me of this one I took a while back. We were waiting for the show to start and this girl drives her scooter in front of us- no big deal- then the second the show starts she jumps up and stands on her seat and dances thru the whole show. :confused3

One would think that if a scooter is necessary for getting around the park, the rider should NOT have the capacity to be balancing on the seat of said scooter and dancing around. Abuse of scooter privileges???:confused3

Just like alot of people do!!!

I'm all for people who legitimately need to use them, but the last time I was there - it was just CRAZY!!! So many people who used them just to get around and didn't really need them were just too much for me...

Do we need to have the ECV debate in this thread? I was having such a good time!! :headache:

I have posted this on another thread before but it really does fit this one too.

From the hairdo it looks like she went to BBB...which would be the only reason I can think of she could get away with wearing a character costume in the park when it is not a party night. She actually looks very much like a lady we saw dressed as Cinderella who had obviously been to BBB when we were there a couple weeks ago.

Did y'all notice how the woman in the red tank is like "Can you believe her?"

Oh, there are some strange laws out there, for example...did you know that it is illegal to whistle under water in the state of Vermont? This is an actual law and it does beg an explanation as to what happened to ever get it written.

I don't think it is enforced anymore, if it ever was! :confused3
