To those of you in the Southern New Hampshire area.... are there any good spots to check out that would be a quick trip. I have a few hours on Thursday morning, but I'll have youngest DS with me (2 years old) and have to be back in Burlington, MA by 11:30 to get DD off the bus from school.
I was thinking of heading towards the Nashua area. Any good ponds, rivers, streams or things like that in that area? TIA
I wish I could be of more help. DH and I took our canoe out on Lake Pawtuckaway yesterday. There is some beautiful color in S. NH right now. I don't know the Nashua area at all and there really isn't anyplace here in Salem that has good public access.
Maybe this park? A river runs thru it and there are lots of trails.

I like your license plate Bob.
Where were you on the Blue Ridge? I have family in the West Jefferson area. I've traveled down the Blue Ridge from Shenandoah to about the Grandfather Mt./ Lin Cove Viaduct area.
