I guess this doesn't look terribly fall-ish, but it was taken a year and 3 days ago.

The trees are starting to get pretty here (it's been a ridiculously warm fall so far), so I'm hoping to get some shots this weekend.

We were there a few years ago for the week of fall in Denali! It was beautiful and your week looks like it was even better! We had a lot of smoke in the air from some nearby fires.

The trees are slowly turning around here. Most of the really tall ones are still green. We have a few small trees in our yard that have turned.

Maple tree and Spanish Moss

This is one I actually set up by picking up some leaves and laying them on the ground. It looks set up to me but i am trying to hang a four seasons collage on my office wall and need some fall photos. There is just not enough colorful trees around here.

These photos have a bit of a story, but I will give the brief version. My dad has been very ill. He is only 61 yrs. old and this has come on quite suddently. Needless to say, it has been difficult for my whole family. A few weeks ago, I was making my daily trip to the hospital and saw this on the way. I almost didn't stop because I wanted to get the hospital and needed to get to work, etc. I didn't have a lens that was wide enough to capture the whole rainbow. But it was a full double rainbow. It was truly amazing! So, when I see these photos, it gives me hope for a better tomorrow.
