Okay - last week (or at least I "think" it was last week:crazy: ) - I was watching something on televison and saw that it was a two-part series.. I remember telling myself that I had to write down when the next part was going to be, but of course I didn't..

Worse yet, I don't remember WHAT I was watching and whether the next part was going to be on a Wednesday or a Thrusday.. Duh..

Now - 99% of my viewing is limited to "news" type shows - like "48 Hours"; "60 Minutes"; "Dateline"; and things of that nature..

So - does anyone remember watching one of those shows or any other show last week that was a 2-parter?

It's driving me nuts because I can't remember what it was!!

What was it about and any idea what channel it was on??? Like regular tv or cable?

I watch Dateline, 60 Minutes and 60 Minutes II and I don't remember any of them being two parters. Went and looked at the websites and didn't see any mention of two parters for any of their news shows. Even checked out ABC and didn't see anything mentioned.

I think you and I were separated at birth. I did not know anyone could have as much trouble with short term memory as I do.

Maybe if you could post what the subject matter was, we might be able to help a bit more?

That's just it.. I CAN'T remember what the subject matter was.. But, for some reason I'm thinking it may have been a true crime and the possibility of someone who is currently in jail getting a new trial?

Wait a minute.. I think it's coming back now.. A rich kid on Long Island - charged with murdering his parents.. He was adopted..

Ringing any bells for anyone else??

This is SOOOOOOO embarassing!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that was on 48 Hour Investigates on Wednesday night. Not sure if it was a two-parter though, my electric went out 5 minutes before it ended. It seemed like the show was more or less over.

This is the recap of last week's 48 Hours Investigates from the CBS website.

Recap: Wed., April 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
48 Hours Mystery
Prime Suspect
Marty Tankleff, 32, has spent his entire adult life behind bars. Marty was just 17 when police charged him with the brutal murders of his parents, Seymour and Arlene.

He was convicted and sentenced to life in prison, largely because of a confession he gave after hours of grilling by police on the morning of the murders.

But Marty says he only admitted to the killings because police pressured him to confess -- and that he was exhausted, disoriented and still in shock at the deaths of his parents.

He maintains his innocence and has lots of supporters, including just about everyone in his family, and a private investigator working on the case for free. Now, there is new evidence and even a witness who says he knows who killed the Tankleffs. Will Marty get a second chance to prove his innocence? Correspondent Erin Moriarty reports.
