So, we're at it again!
I mean, obviously we just can't stay away.
This is gonna be an interesting trip for us - it will be our very first time visiting in the summer. Or during high crowd season.
We might have made a mistake.
Pfft, what am I saying? There's no such thing as making a mistake when it comes to going to Disney World!
I mean, am I likely to get a heat stroke? Probably
But you know, sometimes you have to make sacrifices!
And we can't really say anything as to crowd levels, because our initial plan this year was to do a Christmas week trip.

Now, I'm briefly editing this because I just got told off by my wife for not having a proper introduction section in this PTR. I mean, guys, I'm famous enough that you should know, aren't I?
(I am 100% kidding)
So this is me!
My name is Marie, and I just turned 27 last month. I've lived in Quebec my whole life (French is my first language) and I work for a travel wholesaler.
I love Soarin', Wishes, TinkerBell, Toy Story Midway Mania, Tiana and Expedition Everest. What makes me the most emotional is seeing Sorcerer Mickey pop up at the end of Fantasmic. Every. Single. Time.
And this is my lovely wife, Amber!
She is 23, born in Michigan and now Canadian Resident. She is in College, and plans to become a Nurse.
She loves Epcot, The Haunted Mansion, IllumiNations, Winnie the Pooh (the ride and the bear), Dinosaur and Belle. She always cries when we see IllumiNations. Always. (She actually cries when we listen to the soundtrack).

Now, we want to take this trip easy. We don't want to overplan. Of course, some planning will occur, but I also want to make sure there'll be some room for improvisation.
Besides, we have no idea how we're gonna navigate the crowds.
So, although some elements have to be a little planned, we'll try to keep the planning to a minimum.
At this point, you might wonder - but.. Marie, if you're keeping planning to a minimum, then why are you doing a Pre-Trip Report?
That's a very good question!
And there's a two part answer to it!
First, let's play a game, shall we??
Because I'll be sharing limited information, how about you guys fill the gap?
I'll be giving you all some things to guess, and whoever has the most amount of correct guesses wins!
Of course, if there's no prize, it's not really winning, it is? But I can't tell you what the prize will be!
(Cause I don't know yet)
I mean, it'll be something small. But hey, who cares so long as it's fun, right?
On this, I do have to give proper dues to where the idea came from. @pkondz is the uncontested Master of guessing games, and I but a humble apprentice
He shall go down in the history of guessing games. School children will know his name, and there will be songs about his wit. He's the stuff of heroes, man.

(Although this is just a start, one day it will be the whole world, but you know, China's not a shabby starting point)

Clearly, every winner deserves a trophy in his own right.

Secondly, now that I've challenged you all a bit...
I want you to challenge me!
We'll be experiencing more down times than usual, from the setting of our vacation itself. It will be hot, it will be crowded. Wait times will be longer than we're used to. We'll need to seek out air conditioning A LOT.
But we've got to keep it fun, right?
So I'd like you all to give us some challenges! Things we should try to accomplish while we're at Disney World!
It can be things like, finding a Cast Member who shares our name! Or, get a Galactic Hero score on Buzz!
There's only two rules here - no impossible/unreasonable challenges (like, I'm not gonna stay dry on Splash guys, not in August, it's just not gonna happen
). Second rule, nothing that involves an additional cost.
Also, we are not doing the 4 parks in 1 day challenge, so that's also out.
So, now that that's settled - let's get this party started!
