Where do I even start?
I guess from the beginning. We are a family of 2. We have been married for 5.5 years. DH (AKA Kevin) will be 30 this fall and I (AKA Jessica) will be turning 28 this spring.

We don't have any children but we do have a furbaby (AKA Kaci) who will be going to visit grandma and grandpa while we are gone.

This trip is a long time coming, but why you might ask? My father turned 50 last year. In order to celebrate it my mom and I tried to plan a surprise family trip to Las Vegas. However when we went to book the prices shot up. So we started pricing out new options and finally settled on a carnival cruise for November. In august my inlaws asked if they could come along (they get along well with my parents). So we booked them. Fast forward to October 23. My husband took off for work and hit a deer a few miles after he left the house.
He seemed fine however the car had seen better days. After further review my dad and brother decided it could be fixed. The day after the accident Kevin came down with what we thought was a cold. The next day at work (now October 25 and we were to leave for florida November 2) his throat started swelling dramatically. He was rushed to the ER and eventually diagnosed with Ludwig's Angina. He spent 2 days in ICU due to threat of his throat swelling shut and was then moved to a normal room for 7 days.
But wait we were suppsed to be on a cruise then right? Well my parents and brothers and his parents all went. We were able though to get a voucher for our flight, (the cruise line pretty much said sorry).
So we began discussing what we wanted to do with the voucher since it had to be used before august 2014. We looked into a cruise but decided to do something different since we already have one booked for 2015 (gonna retry the family cruise again lol). We were discussing this with my parents and they offered us their week in their timeshare in Orlando.
So we will be going to Disney in June! Kevin has never been there. I have visited many times when younger. This PTR and TR will be a bit different than most of the ones on this site. Not only are we staying offsite, but we are also doing other things that dont involve disney.
I truly hope you will join in on this journey. I will give you the specifics in the next post
