sorry i'm really bored right now so I thought I would start a debate but PLEASE this is a friendly debate, don't get nasty!! So this is how it goes I'll start the topic off and you have to say whether you disagree/agree and well we'll just see how it goes on from there!!

topic:summer is the best time to go to Disney!! It's hot and you manage to get a tan while having fun rather than just lying down on a towel all day=perfect .

i disagree...
summer is the time when everyone goes... crowds are huge, so lines are long..
Tanning is fun and all but unless you are a pro at sunbathing.. you will get burned even if you do use SPF. I got a suburn when i went a few weeks ago and yes, i did use sunscreen.

I would say middle to late spring..
it's warm can be hot, you can tan, school's still in, lines shouldn't be terrible, same with the crowds.

I am the sun's #1 fan lol. I go to WDW every summer (in July) and love the fact that I can spend hours on end in the sun and get nothing more than a nice dark tan. I never use sunscreen and rarely burn. In fact, I can't even remember the last time I used sunscreen. I know the risks of skin cancer and yeah, it scares the heck out of me and I try to avoid the sun, but..it's just so lovely!! I love going to WDW in the summer and I must agree with you (the original poster) that summer is the best time to go to Disney!

i totally agree!! i love summer!! i love the sun!! i love getting, or attempting to anyway, a tan! but i always use plenty of suncream . I love disney in the summer! I don't know what you think but everyone seems happy in summer, everyone's happy school is over, you spend hours at the beach, you have no priorities (unless you have a summer job), you can just hang out with your friends all day. Everyone is happy at disney! No one cares if you're wearing mickey ears, no one cares if you have a disney t-shirt way too big for you, everyone's just having fun! So summer+disney=a very good time in my opinion!

i understand what you're saying but i just love the atmosphere in the summer. So yes it's crowded and very hot but hey isn't it all part of the fun? So queues may be long but I enjoy the atmosphere of the people from all over the place.

Ugh. i would never go to WDW in the summer, Because
A. It's wayy too hot for me. I would be crabby and miserable.

B. The Lines for the rides are incredibly long. I'd get bored waiting that long. And who wants to spend their vacation being bored??

and
C. The sun would fry me to death! Sunburns are the worst!

I would rather go in the wintertime, or early spring.
