Let's Go Mets!

Well, we had a great season, nobody predicted we would make it this far except the true Mets fans! We were in the world freaking series! How insane is that!? We can only go up from here! Let's hope this momentum carries in to the next season and we will bring the world series back to Citi Field! The better team won, congrats to the Royals.

90% of last nights game was a great game. I don't know why they let Harvey make the decision he was going on the mound. Collins could have bucked up and told him no way and let our finisher do the job.

As soon as they got 2 we knew it was over. You could feel the change in the air at Citi Field. Crowd went from crazy excited to disgusted by those errors.

Sadly, the Mets didn't play very well in the series. I hope they can get back, but it's really hard to do that.

Mets played a great series, Harvey was breathtaking...I mean, EIGHT inning shutout..wow! but...Very proud of my Royals!! All school districts are closed for our city parade tomorrow!

Well looks like we are carrying on a family tradition. After a 6 year absence my fiance will be a Mets season ticket holder. We priced it out and for the number of games he usually goes to in a year we actually save. He'll be able to take his dad to any weekend game he wants and know his seat before hand. His dad was a season ticket holder for 20 years until Citifield was built and long time fans got screwed over (huge price jump and moved the seats he had for 20 years several rows back and several sections over). My fiance is excited and very happy to keep cheering on the Mets.

Harvey basically told Collins there was no way he wasn't closing the game. Familia had already been warming up for an entire inning at that point. It really didn't help that the crowd (me included) were chanting for Harvey to come back. We all believe he really had it in him.

I must say I loved Familia but we seriously need another closer. When Familia is good he is good but man when he messes up he really messes up. He wasn't suppose to be our closer and really stepped up to the plate after the PED issues of the original closer but he's got some work to do.

The Mets played a fantastic series! This Royals fan had chest pains for every one of the five games. Harvey is just insanely good!!!!

Being the National League Champions ain't too shabby! Looking forward to seeing great things from your boys in orange and blue next year!

I'm hoping that the Royals win this year means a Mets win next year. After all, the last time the Royals won was 1985, and then the Mets won in 1986. It has some symmetry to it, right?

The Royals were a great opponent. They were just better than the Mets. Thanks to the Royals for a great series and congrats!

He'll be okay. I'm more worried about Matt Harvey. But overall, they're playing well. And the NL East is better than I thought it would be. But it's still very early.

I can't wait until May 21st - going to that game with my dad. My sister gave me gift cards for Christmas, so I got tickets for both of us for that afternoon. They're giving away a bucket hat, and it looks really cute. Then we're going again on the following Saturday. The sister who gave me the gift cards is visiting NY that weekend, and she's paying for the tickets for me and dad. Can't wait. That weekend is also 1986 weekend, so that should be fun.

I hope everyone got to see Colon's homer. That was his first career home run. He is now the record holder for being the oldest player (42) to hit his first homer.

And he almost broke the internet. Again.
