Reading about your daughter has me worried about my neice. We are going on her first trip next week-shes 7 today-and I wonder what we will be able to get her to ride. Especially when alot of the rides have "dark" portions! She hates the dark!!
The celebrate parade looks cute! Yalls pictures are great!

We have some PTR's and TR's subscriptions in common and I was wondering if you too are doing a TR....would also love to hear about your trip....

I really want to do one but I've been lazy to start one and then yesterday we had a lot of rain & high winds so now my internet is outta whack at home! Hopefully I cant start one this weekend, but it depends on my computer. I'm going to check out your PTR too!

We had gone to the buffet after Pooh and were told we would have plenty of time until any more characters came by. Of course, the kids and I return and find Piglet at the table next to ours, and we were next... Terry was having an omelet made... Great! I don't know how to use our camera... I can't NOT have a picture of Piglet... So, with trembling hands I grabbed Bertha... Sweat beads started forming on my face... Is it hot in there or was it just me??? I turn her on. (Get your head out of the gutter Winkers...) I then remember watching Terry turn on the flash so I did that... Take off the lens cap... She's ready to rock... Piglet is saying his good-byes to the table next to us... No sign of Terry, I am on my own... then, it happened... Bertha spoke to me... With the voice of a female Barry White... And the tune of Let's Get It On softly playing in the background... "Turn my lens, baby..." "Oh yeah, just like that, just a little farther..." Push my button, suga... All the way down, honey..." CLICK! Holy crap I took a picture!!! I quietly thanked Bertha and told her I got it from here... I snapped like 6 or 7 shots... We say our good-byes to Piglet and look up to see Terry walking towards us with a worried look on his face... I know he is thinking, "Why on earth is she touching Bertha???" He sat down and I handed him the camera... He looked at the photos I had taken and gave me the nod... Had I done it? Did I manage to get a picture worth not deleting??? No freakin' way!!! Here it is folks...

That chex mix puppy chow, do you use Peanut Butter & powdered sugar too? If so I made the same thing but it was called Muddy Buddy Mix. I'm happy for you that you got to talk to your brother again too!

I got your text back on Ian's pic, I'm glad you got it at least that is working on my phone again but not the internet again!

that could get a little annoying if it's every hour.....a close 2nd to being trapped on IASW.

It's not too bad, plus it seems to help keep some of the crowds on main street and off the rides

Bertha is an amazing girl. Your pictures are the best I've seen on the boards! So clear!

You should try what we did with our daughter at 4... It was her first time at the parks since she was an infant, so we made her a deal.... If she was tall enough to ride, she had to try it once.... if she didn't like it, she wouldn't have to go on it again This worked for us on every ride including SM, BTMRR, Test Track, and even Tower of Terror Naturally, She will not be going on ToT anytime soon, but she at least tried it

I LOVE your Jungle Cruise Captains name!

I'm having Disney withdrawls too I really really want to go to Disneyland right now and see how they spooked out Space Mountain, I hope they do that again next year!

Ohhhhh Girls trip to Disneyland! Wouldn't that be fun!
I'm determined to buy a seasons pass next year! I've wanted one for the past 6 years but never got it. I will travel the 6 hr drive a couple times a year if I had it. With a stop off at Magic Mountain for the BIG thrill rides!

Day 2 - Part 5

After the Dream Along with Mickey show, we headed over to Haunted Mansion to visit those silly ghosts...

After HM, we made our way over to Ariel's Grotto to meet the famous Ariel... We missed her last year and Tailor has not let us forget it...

After Ariel, we decided to go get a bite to eat at Cosmic Ray's... The kids played with the CM and the hoola hoops while we ordered...

From there, we made our way onto Buzz Lightyear to get some target practice in...

Next up was a picture with Stitch... He is so cute...

We decided to try out TTA and see what you could see in SM, which wasn't much... We went in the Monster's Inc Laugh Floor for some laughter, which was successful... We started to head back towards main street for a little shopping in the Emporium... Once out of there, we stopped in front of City Hall for the Dream's Come True Parade... It was great!

After the parade, we made our way out of the park...

We decided to take a little mid-day break at this point, being as we were still wore out from the travel day, the heat, and the time change...

Next up... Is this day ever gonna end?!?!?!?!

Day 2 - Part 6

By 3:30 in the afternoon, this is how the kids felt...

When we arrived at the resort, Toni and Tailor decided to take a nap, and Alec and I went swimming! We swam for about a couple of hours, I brought a pizza back to the room from the food court around 6pm... After everybody stuffed their faces, we headed to DTD... First stop - Build a Dino...

While at T-Rex, I also took a few shots of the scenery...

We headed from there over to World of Disney and walked around... After leaving there, we headed back to PI towards the bus stop... Here are a few pics I took on the way...

We caught the bus back to Pop... Tailor and I headed to the pool for about an hour while Toni helped Alec with a little bit of homework in the room... At about 10:00, me and Tailor went back to the room to find Toni talking to SilverL and her hubby in our room... It was very nice to meet them... We sat and talked in the room until about 1am! We had a 6am wake up call ... They left, and we fell asleep before they even hit the elevator ... Of course, none of us even thought to take pictures ...

FINALLY - THAT CONCLUDES DAY 2 OF OUR TRIP!!!

Next up - Will we be up on time???

I'm so excited to have found your trip report. We're going next month, and I have a DS10 and a DD almost 6! It's great to see a trip with kids the same age as mine. Pics are great! Can't wait to read more
