My mother doesn't like what I listen to, she says it's all just screaming, she has no idea what they say most of the time. My aunt is kind of like that and takes everything literally, it's kind of annoying. Like once I was listening to Stupid MF by Mindless Self Indulgence (shock rock? lol) I had to explain the song (what I saw it as) to her and that still didn't work (work with what? I have no idea) She was like,"This is the kind of music you like? Do you look up to these people? All they say is -lots of swearing-!" Then we went somewhere with my mother and she was telling her about the bad music I listen to lol. She usually doesn't pay attention to what I listen to though. She was just in the room when MSI started playing. Once I was listening to A7X (Critical Acclaim) and she was in the room and was like,"Did he just say 'mother****er' ??" And once I was listening to Shallow Believer and after it was over she was like,"How can you listen to music like that? All that screaming...and what they're saying too! "I touch myself" "I never want to see your face again" "Slit your own throat" "Choke me"..."

And she's gotten her boyfriend to believe that every song I listen to is telling you to kill your mother :/

I know my aunt doesn't have a problem with swearing. She does it all the time. Even too much/when it's not needed. Like when she's trying to be funny.

I see what you're saying, lol. It's annoying to me too, but most the time, hardly ever does my father ask me what I'm listening to, or does he ever want to "really" hear what I'm listening to, lol. He does like "some" of the music I listen to.. just not everything, lol. My mom likes a bit of everything I have, she says to me, "If I didn't have you, and your music, I'd still be stuck in the 70's, 80's music." Lol. XD Which, I like the 70's/80's music too, but mostly newer stuff.

It was funny though, once me and my mom were in the car and I had her listen to A7X, and just like what your Aunt did, kind of, she said, "Whoah! there.." at the part where he says, "'mother****er'". Hahaha, I thought it was funny, I kind of crindge when I have a new CD and I have my mom listen to it, knowing she'll like it even, lol..like today, with The Used album, I knew she'd like it...just didn't know how much she would like it. She said she's gonna have to get used to them now, since we own a CD by them.

On the last one, I'm sure as well, even though, I'm 18, but still a teen in a way, yet an adult at the same time. Kinda scary how time flies, lol. I'm kinda pissed at myself for how much time I spend on the computer, actually, it has kind of ruined my eyesight... I have to wear glasses now, haha.

I've always had bad eyesight lol. I've been told it's probably because when I was little I liked staring at the sun lol.
