I'm in North California. 45 miles to San Francisco, 45 miles to Sacramento

I used to live in Danville... bout an hour-ish east-ish from San Fran.

I really wanna see The Airborne Toxic Event in concert... but:

1) The place they'll be here is kinda sketchy, Pontiac
2) Never been to a concert
3) I need to know more of their songs

I saw Family Force 5 in concert because I liked their first album and had barely heard the 2nd. So I listened to it and was able to learn all of the words before the concert

When I was 5, we almost moved to Louisiana because my daddy woulda gotten the same salary and since the cost of living is so much lower thar, we woulda had lots of money. My mommy talked him out of it though because of how racist the town was.

Yeah, I mean, I'd rather be living in a medium house in CA (we were planning to move to the nice neighborhood eventually), that would have been like half the size of my house now, than in Michigan

I read a really good article today written by Geoff Rickly about Prop 8 and the religious response to it. In the same chapter of the Bible that it supposedly says you can't be gay, it says that you can sell your daughter to slavery, stone your wife to death, and you can't wear mixed fabrics. Real updated stuff there -_-

I blame the Mormons for Prop 8 passing. they put SOOOOO much money behind it. I hate discriminatory laws.

It's funny, because I go to a Catholic school in the Midwest and most of the girls and some guys I talk to are totally okay with rights, etc.

I usually lose respect for those who aren't. Who are they to judge? Let he who is without sin be the first to condemn.

I just watched Milk this past week and started crying. I was like "They are still fighting for their rights...."

I haven't seen it yet. It wasn't in theatres for a long time. After it won awards, they only had like 2 shows for it a day. I live in a VERY homophobic town.
