Please let's share our best tips and recipes for the grill.

*Chicken breasts soaked in fresh squeezed lime juice.

*Best burgers..mix in a teaspoon of salt into a pound of ground beef. Let sit in refrigerater for 15 minutes. Make patties and throw onto the grill for four minutes a side. This simple recipe always turns out the perfect, most juciest burger.

*Chocolate strawberry Smores. Roast marshmallow. Serve on a graham with chocolate and thinly sliced strawberries, top with other graham.

For cooking chicken a good idea is to start the pieces off in the microwave to partially cook them. Since the microwave cooks from the inside out it will work to keep from having raw meat on the inside while overdone on the outside.

Zucchini, Yellow Squash & Patty Pans(flying saucer shaped) are great grilled -whole, chunks or strips all work well.

Spritz w/ Olive oil and either garlic or seasoning salt

Marinate in:
Soy sauce, sesame oil and garlic

I BBQ'd the bacon yesterday morning for breakfast-extra yummmmm

Pineapple is also really good grilled

Grilled shrimp is excellent as well. I used to make it in a marinade that, sadly, McCormick doesn't make anymore (or at least I can't find it around here)--it's Spicy Caribbean. It has black and red pepper, cinnamon, allspice, and a variety of other things in it. I used to add a bit of lime juice to the marinade (in addition to the requisite water, oil, and vinegar), and the results were fantastic.

Do you season with anything else? That sounds interesting. We tried a tequila lime marinade (store bought) on our chicken a few weeks ago and it was very good.

Oh, and if anyone can find the Spicy Caribbean marinade, it's also WONDERFUL on pork, especially when coupled with a sweet BBQ sauce.

I did NY strip steaks for Father's Day marinated overnight in Tequila (with pressed garlic, fresh lemon zest, salt and lots of pepper). Even my 12 year old DS who doesn't really like meat LOVED it. He's my little party boy, so we didn't mention to him that it was marinated in Tequila! We don't generally drink, but buy tequila occasionally for this recipe.

I just bought a skillet with holes in it to make it easier to grill veggies. It worked great!

I also do potatoes on the grill. I microwave them for a few minutes, then cut them into bitesize pieces and make a foil packet. Season with olive oil or cooking spray and whatever spices. We also like this seasoned with a mix of italian salad dressing and dijon mustard.

I like to do the whole meal on the grill when it's hot - we don't have air conditioning.

I love corn on the cob on the grill, lots of butter and Season Salt.

Just on Sunday I finally "manned" the grill by myself for Father's Day. I will have to keep track her for all of the great recipes!:thumbsup2

My favorite is fresh sliced pinapple marinated in soy sauce, honey and ginger. It's so good and sweet when it's grilled.
