Let's celebrate this "babymoon" GRAND style!! COMPLETED

I'm jealous! I wanted to eat dinner at Be Our Guest, but we couldn't get an ADR when we went. At least I got to go there for lunch, and it is most definitely my favorite counter service lunch in the MK now. :thumbsup2 That's cool that the CM took note of your button and you got to try the grey stuff!

Oh how fun! You got to eat in Beast's Castle. I would really love to see it, I bet it is amazing.

I love the castle projection show.

Sadly I've only ever done the FP line at Toy Story. One of these days I will brave the regular line.

I was one of the first to see New Fantasyland and yet I think I'm going to be one of the last eating at BOG. I must remedy that. I've not heard anything but raves about the whole experience.

I finally got the time to relax and be on the dis. I'm a little late but I didn't want you to think I wasn't coming at all!
Grand Villa at BLT that must have been the best thing ever! I fell in love with our Saratoga Grand Villa but I mean being so close to the magic kingdom that must have been a beautiful thing.
Whoever doesn't get excited about the tangled bathrooms is crazy and I don't think I could be friends with a person like that. I mean look at that bathroom it is so magical!!!
“Welcome to those passengers who just joined us, and hope you enjoyed the Magic Kingdom!” I can hear him say this...
I'm pretty sure I just died after viewing all those grand villa pictures...it is so perfect, like I can't even form words right now! Your shirt for chef mickeys is seriously one of the cutest ideas I have ever seen.
Seems like you had a pretty solid first day at the Magic Kingdom.

Woahh fog overload! It seemed to clear up pretty quickly though.
One mans dream makes my heart hurt in a good way. Walt was one amazing man I mean with everything his company has become is crazy.
Be our guest...the prettiest restaurant on Disney property. I really need to try the dinner experience there, it seems like it would be a wonderful meal. Celebrate the Magic is a perfect way to end the night!

Great update! Aww, you look so cute all excited for Be Our Guest! I've been seeing it all over the boards and cannot wait to see it this fall!!! :cloud9:

Thanks! I was SO antsy to get in! I hope you love it.

That's always nice! :thumbsup2

Cute. :)

It was good timing!

They had a cute little interaction.

As you will see later in the TR, it is now my favorite MK CS too!

I love the castle projection show.

Be Our Guest is amazing. If you can't get in for dinner, you must do lunch CS!

Sadly I've only ever done the FP line at Toy Story. One of these days I will brave the regular line.

I was one of the first to see New Fantasyland and yet I think I'm going to be one of the last eating at BOG. I must remedy that. I've not heard anything but raves about the whole experience.

If you get there first thing in the morning at rope drop, the line is a walk on for a little bit!

You have to get into BOG!!

I finally got the time to relax and be on the dis. I'm a little late but I didn't want you to think I wasn't coming at all!

Hey! I'm so glad you're here! I wish I could have done some planking pictures in honor of you, but obviously that wasn't going to happen! Ha!

I love the pic of the army man making Little Guy do push-ups!

It was so funny!

Congratulations!!!!
I just finished your honeymoon trip report and now onto your babymoon report. So exciting that you are sharing your new chapter in your life. Good luck with the baby and I can't wait to hear more about your trip

Lisa

All caught up again. I absolutely love the picture of Little Guy doing the push up with the green army man!

Ooooh... now I want to eat dinner at Be Our Guest! We ate CS lunch there in May and I LOVED it and didn't think I'd *need* to do dinner here but I think you changed my mind. You got to meet the beast, awesome!!

found this browsing around and will catch up next week.:thumbsup2

okay all caught up now, enjoyed it all.

that is some lego collection he has going there.

the mine train seems to be coming along nicely, i hope that the one date i saw for it, early march is correct so it will be open before summer in 2014

I can't wait to eat at Be Our Guest someday. I wish it was open back in September. It looks beautiful and I have heard nothing but wonderful things about it. So pretty!

TSM is so fun but that queue can go on forever. LOL
That is the first pic I have seen of the construction at Cali Grill. Thanks. My top 2 favorite restaurant.
Dinner looked like fun at the Castle. We are eating there in December and I cannot wait.
Great update and pics.

The green army men are always such a hoot! I really enjoy them.

One regret I have about my stay at BLT is I never tried the Contemporary pool. I've DVC pool hopped to all the others on the monorail. Someday!

I just ate at BOG a few weeks ago and I totally not remember getting that cool beeper. We were actually seated pretty quickly, so perhaps that's why.

Great seat. Perfect location. Nice meal.

Late to the party but excited to be joining in.

First of all, congratulations!!! So excited for you! Love that the CM gave you "it's a boy" buttons. Just perfect!

The grand villa. Wowza! Gorgeous!!

Love your Mickey maternity shirt!

I am super excited to dine at BoG in October. So glad you loved it.

Looks like your trip was off to a fantastic start. Looking forward to more!

Okay first things first.

You look so amazing! You are glowing :) So happy for you and your hubby!

I can't wait to see what you bought for your little guy at WDW.

Good job on keeping up so far on your trip! Is it not too hot in May? However, i'm seeing the name for your next update, and am wondering if it's you that needs to be wheeled around :confused3

Little Guy is so adorable. He's going to be super handsome in high school!

Sigh. The Grand Villa looks spectacular! So there are 3 bedrooms right? Does the living room have a pull out bed, do you know? Would be wonderful to have an extended family trip at WDW one year and stay here.

Okay, now that i'm all caught up, you can continue on with your TR! :rotfl:;)

It was such a cute moment with the Green Army Man!

I loved the CS at BOG too! You do need to do dinner! It's a different experience than lunch.

DH and I love the Cali Grill too. I hope they don't change the menu too much!

I hope you love BOG!

It's a nice pool!

You were seated fast? That's awesome!

Another great update! Thanks for sharing.

Glad you liked it!

Yay, you're here!!

I think you'll love the first thing I got the baby...you just posted it on your TR!

We actually lucked out with the heat most of the trip. It was not too bad, but towards the end of the trip, it was SO hot!

You're right about my next update! You'll see soon!

Yeah, Little Guy has those baby blue eyes that make your heart melt!

Both the living room couch and the couch up in the loft area between the two bedrooms upstairs pull out into a bed. So 3 bedrooms..Master bedroom has 1 king size bed. Other 2 bedrooms have 2 queen size beds. Then both couches pull out.

~May 24, 2013 – Wheelin’ Around Epcot~

We were up and moving around 7:45 this morning. It’s still so nice to wake up and have quite a few days left of your trip. Little Guy hung out in our room again. They have a channel that is just old Disney cartoons, so we usually switched between that and Stacy.

I woke up very sore and tired! Mom made me agree to get a wheelchair once we got to the park. I didn’t want anyone to have to deal with pushing me around, but she insisted!

Before we left the room, Little Guy wanted me to take a picture of him and DH because they were both wearing the same brand of t-shirt!

He thought he was pretty cool, ha! I also have to say, that bright orange was perfect for keeping an eye on him!

We were headed to Epcot today, so we headed to the TTC to switch monorails. Here’s what the room numbers look like:

And remember how I said each floor has a different picture right by the elevator? Here’s what’s on the 5th floor, which is the floor to the walkway over to the main Contemporary tower.

Here’s our “Welcome Home” sign:

We didn’t have to wait too long for a monorail..one was pulling in as we got up there! Headed to the TTC:

Once at the TTC, we walked down the ramp and up the other ramp to the Epcot monorail. We had to wait a few minutes for that one, but we were soon on our way!:

Little Guy was my “helper”. It was his mission to tell me when he saw SE first. And as soon as he saw it, he was all “I see it! I see it! It’s right over there!” It gave him something to do to pass the time.

The lines getting in looked bad!!:

Finally, we made it in! And then lines to get in weren’t that bad once we got down there. Our plan of action: DH, Little Guy, and Uncle headed to TT, which was only a 20 minute wait. Mom, Dad, and I got me a wheelchair, and then headed to The Land to get Soarin’ FP’s. So, a lot of the pictures from Epcot today will be from my seat!

Once we got into The Land, we headed around to the elevator. One thing Mom and I were both dreading! But, it was quick since we just went down 1 floor.

Our Soarin’ FP’s were for 10:40-11:40, so not that much later! With those in hand, I was starving, so we stopped at one of my favorite CS places at WDW: Sunshine Seasons! I had to have the cinnamon roll since the Main Street Bakery was closed! Mom and Dad both had some fruit. There was hardly anyone else there eating!

After our breakfast, we headed over to the Nemo gift shop to see if there was anything the baby needed.

And I made my first baby purchase!! I got this adorable onsie:

I also got this book for when he’s a little older, but I can still read it to him now..it’s about this little sea turtle. It’s a very cute book!

Instead of carrying those around, we had them sent back to the room. The CM ringing us up was so excited about the baby. It was very cute.

Right after we were done in the gift shop, I got a text from DH saying they were done. Since Nemo was a walk on, I told them to meet us there. All 3 of them loved TT. DH really liked the new changes. I was hoping he would since that’s one of his favorite WDW rides!

With this ride, I was able to stay in the wheelchair all the way up to the loading area. That was nice since there’s a lot of walking and weaving even if there’s no line!

I really love this ride. It’s so cute and so neat how they put this ride right in with the water and real fish. Plus, “It’s a Big Blue World” always stays stuck in my head the rest of the day. So, randomly, Little Guy and I would start singing it the rest of the day.

After the ride, we looked around. Little Guy and DH had fun watching a dolphin swim by:

I think they stood there the whole time and watched that dolphin! After a little bit of that, it was time to use our Soarin’ FP’s! So back to The Land we went. This time, DH was pushing me to give Mom a break, so I had to direct him toward the elevator. I decided to leave my wheelchair with Mom and Dad.

This was Little Guy’s first time on Soarin’, so he was a little nervous. He kept asking all of these questions about the ride. He almost backed out at the last minute before we got on, but DH was able to talk him into it. We were on the bottom row, so we weren’t up too high to scare him. It worked out well!

While I love the ride, I really wish that it went over Florida and WDW instead of California. I understand having that version at Disneyland, but I think the WDW version should be FL!

**Continued in next post**

**Continued from previous**

By the time we got off there, everyone was getting hungry for lunch. Of course, we just ate right at the Sunshine Seasons again. Unfortunately, I did not write down what everyone had. I remember I had the pork chop and mashed potatoes; and Mom and Uncle had fried rice, but I can’t remember what meat. And I can’t remember what Dad, DH, and Little Guy had. Sorry!!!! I do remember everyone liked their meals!

After we were done eating, we did another one of our Epcot favorites: Living with the Land, which was another walk on!

I would love to have this in our backyard:

CM’s were working!

Little Guy loves to fish, so he loved to see all the different types of fish.

It was after noon by the time we got off LWTL, so we decided to make our way back to the front of the park for one last ride before heading back to BLT.

SE! Since we had a wheelchair, they directed us to a different line. We had to go in and wait in a little holding area right by the exit of the ride. After about 15 minutes, they let us go up the exit ramp and get on. It was nice because we did all of that waiting inside in the A/C!

This was Little Guy’s first time on SE, so before we got on, I made sure to tell him to make a funny pose for the camera. Here’s how it turned out:

That’s Uncle on the left and Little Guy on the right. I high fived him and told him that was a very good funny face!

On that funny note, we headed back to the monorail after returning my wheelchair.

While we were on our way to the TTC, Little Guy ended up falling asleep on Uncle. So, the rest of us decided that once we switched over to the Resort monorail, we would get off at the GF and look around while Uncle took Little Guy back to the room for a nap.

~Up next: It’s a meteor shower!~

Awesome update!

Glad to hear that your ride in the wheelchair was voluntary. I wasn't sure if you weren't feeling good and had no choice but to be in it. :thumbsup2

Yay for matching onesies! :cool1: It's such a cute one.

I love that LG is so attached to your DH. It looks like your DH is so ready to become a dad!

And I completely agree with you on Soarin'. I've been to WDW 3 times and still haven't been on it because i'm on it all the time at Disney's California Adventure. You'd think the big guys would be hearing all of our complaints and change the movie! I know FL isn't the prettiest, but it would be cool if the did Soarin' Through WDW! Like going through DTD, AK, DHS, the Water Pagent, and ending up with the MK. That would be amazing!
