Let's celebrate this "babymoon" GRAND style!! COMPLETED

The nice thing about having a kitchen is being able to eat right then and there. Mom and Dad made us all a good breakfast with eggs, bacon, and pancakes. This was also more helpful than last trip with Little Guy. Breakfast last time was hard because he didn’t really want to sit down and eat. He was too excited and wanted to go ride rides! This time, we all ate before we even left the room. It worked out well.

I loved having the kitchen when we stayed at Vero and Kidani!

Moments like this when Little Guy and DH are walking and holding hands make me excited for when our own little one is here:

Sweet memories will be made!

We didn’t have to wait too long for a bus. Little Guy and I sat up front so I could show him things along the way. He loved that we went under the waterway between Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon:

My big girls love this and always whisper scream "AAAAAHHHH!" with their hands up when we go under it!

I want to visit Marceline so bad!

That is definitely a trip I want to make too!

It’s so neat seeing everything come to life from this model:

Definitely!

I was so excited to be back at the GF and smell that GF “smell”. The GF holds a special place in my heart. It was where we stayed on my very first trip when I was 3 and for several trips after that. And another good memory of the GF can be summed up into two words: Full House! C’mon, you know what episode I’m talking about!

Absolutely!

We talked about Narcoosee’s and 1900 PF, both places we enjoy eating. We also talked about what we wanted to do on our next trip when we take the baby for his first time! We are playing with the idea of going next October 2014 for the F&W Festival. I’ve been dying to do that.

I highly recommend October trips, they are my favorite!

The guys headed in there while Mom and I went to the WoD store. We didn’t know how long we each would be, so we decided to just meet back at BLT later.

Benefits of staying on property!

In WoD, we decided to finally get everything we had been seeing and wanting to get for the baby. And with the ability to send it to our Resort, we didn’t have to carry it around for the rest of the night! Here’s what we got:

A Buzz Lightyear onesie and sweatshirt, a Lightning McQueen shirt, and a Mickey shirt:

A train, ABC blocks, and Mufasa and Zazu toy that makes sounds and rolls:

Super cute stuff! Sophie Kate has the Bambi and Squirt that are like the Mufasa and Zazu and she LOVES them!

Nice buys for the baby! Glad you like T-Rex, it's not necessarily on my list, but it looks great for LG. Too bad about the angry bride, it's supposed to be the best day, not the worst, sheesh.

My favorite purchases are that buzz onesie and the train!!! SO CUTE!!

I highly recommend a trip for F&W in the future ... Hopefully my trip report this fall will convince you!

How did I not realize you'd be starting this TR?? I mean... your trip was in MAY! SHEESH! LOL.

I'm on board! I'll have to catch up after dinner! Hope your pregnancy is going well!! :) :goodvibes

I love the stuff you bought for your little one! We ate at T Rex in may and loved it although I think it was too distracting for the baby at 9 months, he didn't want to nurse lol. We've never eaten at rainforest cafe so now we want to try there! We are also thinking about going for food & wine and MNSSHP, we have never been any time besides spring and summer!

TREX is a family favorite! DH wants to eat there every trip. My oldest and youngest love leggos too. I hope LG never outgrows them. Your purchases are adorable. I'm sorry you didn't find an ornament yet. Can't leave Disney without that. Electric parade is the perfect ending to your day.

Oh my gosh that Buzz Lightyear onsie and sweatshirt are adorable!
My daughter loves T-Rex as well. We didn't go on our last trip but we went the trip before and she raved about it for a long time after!

It sounds like T-Rex was a hit. I haven't eaten there, but I have been inside and it looks amazing.

Love all the baby stuff. My husband and son love Legos too. I hate to think about how much money we have spent on those blocks. :faint:

I live TRex! I know those types of places tend to get bad raps, but I loved my food!

Love the baby haul! Such cute clothes and so many fun toys. Augh, I'd be aggravated about no baby ornament, too! I hope you find one later in the trip.

Aww, what an adorable picture you captured as you walked to T-Rex! I have a feeling my own kiddies in the future will love it there too because my husband will be teaching them all about dinosaurs, haha. Of course, if they're anything like me, they might be a little scared of animatronic dinosaurs/animals!

Great purchases! I love those Buzz outfits!

Aww, love all of the stuff you got for the baby! That will be a lot of fun when you guys take him on his first trip. :goodvibes

I can't believe how fast the construction at the GF villas seems to be going! I can't wait to stay there.

Thanks. It was hard not to buy it all! I had to narrow it down to the "must have" ones.

I can't wait to stay at the GF DVC either!

That's a great 'capture' of the moment! :thumbsup2

Too bad that bride couldn't enjoy her special day. Hope she stopped to appreciate the money and time that went into a wedding at the Grand Floridian!

I bet the boys really enjoyed their Lego session. Brooklynn is getting into the girly Lego set a little.

I like the shirts you got for the baby. :)

I was thinking the same thing. If I was getting married in WALT DISNEY WORLD at the GRAND FLORIDIAN, I think I would have a permanent smile on my face!

I loved having the kitchen when we stayed at Vero and Kidani!

Sweet memories will be made!

My big girls love this and always whisper scream "AAAAAHHHH!" with their hands up when we go under it!

Ha, I love that..whisper screams. How cute!

How's the weather usually in October? I know it could always be different, but what was it like while you were there?

I saw the Bambi and Squirt!

Nice buys for the baby! Glad you like T-Rex, it's not necessarily on my list, but it looks great for LG. Too bad about the angry bride, it's supposed to be the best day, not the worst, sheesh.

Thanks, it was fun shopping for him!

My favorite purchases are that buzz onesie and the train!!! SO CUTE!!

Thanks!!

I can't wait for your trip report!

How did I not realize you'd be starting this TR?? I mean... your trip was in MAY! SHEESH! LOL.

I'm on board! I'll have to catch up after dinner! Hope your pregnancy is going well!! :) :goodvibes

Hey girl! Glad you're here!

Actually, while it's pretty much the same thing as Rainforest Cafe, we actually liked it better than RFC!

I think it would be fun to do both F&W and MNSSHP. I know the baby would only be 1 and not really know what was going on at MNSSHP, but I've been dying to see that parade!

Glad to see someone else likes T-Rex too!

I hope he never outgrows them either. I don't think he will. He loves building and creating with DH.

Oh my gosh that Buzz Lightyear onsie and sweatshirt are adorable!
My daughter loves T-Rex as well. We didn't go on our last trip but we went the trip before and she raved about it for a long time after!

While I did find some cute clothes, they had a lot more baby girl clothes than boy clothes!

Sounds like T-Rex is doing well!

It sounds like T-Rex was a hit. I haven't eaten there, but I have been inside and it looks amazing.

Love all the baby stuff. My husband and son love Legos too. I hate to think about how much money we have spent on those blocks. :faint:

It is pretty neat inside!

Haha, I know that we will be spending a lot when the baby gets older!

I live TRex! I know those types of places tend to get bad raps, but I loved my food!

Love the baby haul! Such cute clothes and so many fun toys. Augh, I'd be aggravated about no baby ornament, too! I hope you find one later in the trip.

Our food was really good too!

It was fun shopping!

It was so perfect how I got the picture of him turning around!

It really is a fun restaurant. Like I said, we all liked it better than RFC!

I have to try T-Rex sometime. It looks like a lot of fun. And I STILL haven't set foot in the GF. It's on my list though.

Shame that bride was having such a seemingly miserable day. It's tough to judge without knowing the circumstances, but seeing her complaining on two separate occasions makes me think it may be a regular thing.

Ha, I love that..whisper screams. How cute!

How's the weather usually in October? I know it could always be different, but what was it like while you were there?

I saw the Bambi and Squirt!

We've always had fabulous weather in October. Hot but not sweltering summer hot. Not a lot of rain like spring time. I love the Magic Kingdom decked out in orange and yellow. I also love the Halloween party. And the Food and Wine Festival is perfect for moms and dads who have a baby taking an afternoon nap in a stroller. Have I convinced you yet? :rolleyes1

[COLOR="PurpleAnd another good memory of the GF can be summed up into two words: Full House! C’mon, you know what episode I’m talking about!

::yes::

And I always think of that episode at the Indiana Jones show too. :rotfl2::lmao:

Looks like a great evening all around. I'm glad you enjoyed your dinner at T-Rex. Too bad the bus service was a little lacking at DTD, but at least it all worked out for you. :thumbsup2

All caught up!

DH and Little Guy are so cute! When I saw them on the Walkway to the MK holding hands I just melted! How cute! He's going to be such an amazing dad! :goodvibes

I also LOVED your maternity shirt with the tiny Mickey ears, hands, and feet. SO CUTE!

I ate at T-Rex in Kansas City for my bachelorette party and it is such a cool atmosphere. I think I like it even better than Rainforest Cafe because of the meteor shower lights that you see! I'm all for a good thunderstorm but if you find yourself sitting next to a money or gorilla expect a loud meal! LOL!

I love your baby stuff you bought! How precious! You're so close to your 3D/4D ultrasound! Are you going to get the pictures printed?

One question I have to ask you... How was Disney while pregnant? I mean, did you find yourself sad or depressed at all because you couldn't ride any of the big rides?

Can't wait to read more!

Everytime I go to the GF I look to see if Uncle Jessie Is playing the piano.

I love the onesies, they are so cute. I need to check on Disneyshopping and see what they have for my new little nephew.

My question is how can a bride be so crabby all day?! I mean first, you are getting married, and secondly you are getting married in DISNEY! It must suck to spend all your money on a disney wedding and hate it every second. I have never been to TREX from pictures I've seen it looks good. Maybe one day I will eat there.

Yikes, what could anyone find to yell about on at least two separate occasions on their wedding day at Disney?!?!? :confused3

Wow, T-Rex looks awesome - haven't been there and have heard mixed reviews, BUT I think it'd be worth it for the atmosphere alone! It's on my list! :thumbsup2

Made it over! I'm loving your TR! That Grand Villa is beautiful!

How cool that you got to dine at Be Our Guest! We couldn't get in in May, but hopefully next time we go we'll be able to!

Loving all your pictures!
