Let's binge watch stuff

This show runs a very very close second to my favorite all time drama, Breaking Bad. So good!

Ohh, I cannot say anything ... it was superbly done, but a major piece killed me.

Breaking bad ending was a close #2 in my book! lol

I wanted to like this, but I watched the first couple of episodes and didn’t like how the judges acted. It really bothered me that people were laughing as some of the models came down the the runway. I understand criticism in programs like this but laughing and making rude comments in front of the models and in front of the designers really bothered me. I don’t think Naomi Campbell is a good addition to the judging panel
I felt the same way! I love Project Runway and this seems like it is trying too hard to be "international" and "slick" high fashion, at least to me. So one and done, and back to PR when it returns. Too bad because I really like Tim Gunn!

I don't enjoy it nearly as much as Project Runway but I like the designers. I haven't noticed the laughing/comments during the runway show being much worse than what happens on PR. I can not stand any of the Heidi/Tim bits - it's annoying and feels forced.

Three!!

Lost brain cells is exactly how I described it especially since I had just come off a Love is Blind binge. Haha!

It's gold!

We've been on a rotational schedule at work to minimize contamination. I haven't seen these people in a few days. The first thing I'm saying tomorrow morning is, "Hey all you cool cats and kittens!"

I watched most of Derry Girls on Netflix this weekend. It's super quick - there are 12 episodes that are about 25 minutes each.

DH & I have had a hard time getting into anything new, although we've tried a few things. We're especially looking for a series that has several seasons already available on-demand because we love to binge-watch. We started The Wire today, which has been highly praised but after 3 episodes, it hasn't totally grabbed me.

I found Sick Note on Netflix on friday and watched the entire series - 2 seasons of like 8 25 minute eps. It's an awkward dark British comedy with rupert grint and nick frost. It was hilarious if you like Brit humor.

I’m envious of you with streaming services right about now. Out where I live there is no internet service or even a booster strong enough to watch even a short YouTube video without blippy buffering.
So my list is what I’d like to binge:
WKRP in Cincinnati
Perfect Strangers
Cheers
Frasier
Night Court
Alf
Designing women
Empty nest
Family ties
Growing pains
Who’s the boss
Evening Shade
Step by Step
The Torkelsons

Ozark is great. Season one was incredible, Season two ...meh, Season 3 back to incredible
Interesting. I watched episode 1 and 2 and I thought "meh". I went on to other things, mainly because my kids were bothering me to watch Tiger King. WOW! That's all I have to say about that train wreck, LOL.

I’m having the hardest time finding anything to binge-watch right now.

Previous shows we’ve binged & enjoyed -

Strike Back
24
Black Sails - this was AMAZING!
The 100
The Walking Dead - the first 6 or so seasons... we lost interest in the later seasons
Game of Thrones - really just me, DH never got into it
Jack Ryan - season 1
Downton Abbey - me & DD
Poldark - me & DD
Vampire Diaries - me & DD

All the above was prior to the pandemic. Since the pandemic we’ve watched Tiger King, season 2 of Jack Ryan, & some movies.

We tried getting into both Ozark & Breaking Bad but didn’t get past the 2nd episode. Maybe we need to try again.

I’ve determined that I need someone cute and/or sexy/striking & a romantic couple or two for me to get invested in the show. LOL! And if DH is watching w/ me, we need action & adventure. In both Ozark & Breaking Bad, I felt “meh” about all the characters. And Walter White is not cute or sexy. I’m shallow, I know. Also, I’m just not that into meth labs.

That said, I also couldn’t get into The Witcher, & no one can say that the main character isn’t nice-looking.

So I’m yet again rewatching Friends. I’m trying to get into Lucifer & thinking about trying Outlander.

DH is watching Money Heist - I was meh about all the characters.

However, one new Netflix show we both have watched & really enjoyed (we just have one episode left) is Outer Banks - but it’s just 10 episodes.
