Let this be a lesson to you, Target shoppers!

ooooooh Target gossip... do tell do tell.... :D

I once worked at a place where I had to wear a tie. Every time I went into a store during lunch or after work, invariably someone would ask me a question about the store, where something is, or "Do you work here?" I was tempted sometime to give some weird information, but I always said, "I don't work here." I haven't worn a tie to work in 4 years! :bounce:

When they implemented the uniforms, they chose red and khaki because the colors are popular (case in point, this thread) and they wanted to give the impression that there were more team members on the sales floor than there really were.

WOW! You really know a lot aboot Target! I bet if you'd put your mind to it you could really have moved up the corporate ladder. Wonder where you'd be now???

One question though?

Why didn't they pick raggy jeans and smelly t-shirts? Then the place would look like it was chock-full-O-team members.

Very interesting JohnTBap. Maybe if they had put me on the payroll I might have answered some of those questions.

I do agree though, red and khaki is a fairly common color combination. And everyone has different khaki pants and different red shirts. It's not like they all have the exact same uniform.

Wonder where I would be now.

hehehe

Sorry my friend, a bad day teaching is better than a good day at Target!!!

Same thing happens to me at WDW when I wear khaki pants and a green polo. I look the same as the interpreters. Funny thing is that it is also our school uniform so I wear it a lot but never at Disney.

In 13 years there must have been SOME good days. :)

But a good day at Target CENTER is better than ANY day at work :)
