Let them eat SNOW!!!

Do you I mean? Do you let your kids eat the snow? I remember when I was little it was the funnest thing to do. Now as a mom I cringe at the fact. I try and tell them no, but DD always has a mitten full of snow in her face.

Long as it's not yellow!!!!!!!! If it didn't kill us, it probably won't kill them either.

My DS is not yet quite old enough, though we don't have much snow here anyway, but I have to agree... as long as it's not yellowish ..... what the heck. I lived!

In kindergarten, DS8 did an experiment where they took fresh snow, let it melt and then looked at what remained. That took care of his desire to eat snow.

Haven't quite figured out how to stop DS2 from eating it yet. Being we haven't had much this winter, it has not been a problem. I know I ate it as a kid, so hopefully, it's not all that bad.

I always think of Lucy from the Peanut Gang and her version of when to eat snow....
I let them when it has just fallen! I don't think I could even stop my DS and I even taste just a little! Of course it has been on the ground for a day then no way! But catching a big snow flake on your tongue is just part of the fun being a kid or young at heart!
