Haven't been "garage saling" for a few years now. Sounds like you got some great deals.

I'm jealous! Around here the season doesn't really get underway until about mid April... providing the snow is all melted by then

I'm nearly out of stuff I bought last year. I buy it and then sell it on Ebay to make Mickey Money. :teeth: Can't wait for them to start up again. I also have at least one sale a year. I'm hoping to do mine the first weekend in May.

LOL now see? this is total opposite to the ost I made last week about geting rid of stuff :)

BUT this was all stuff I needed ( ok except for the kids toys lol) the magazine holders are allready put to use and so is the lamp.

YAY :hyper:

sorry lol:teeth:

My friends and I just held a yard sale this morning--and it turned out great! I was a little concerned because we hadn't advertised at all (other than a sign pointing toward the street), plus it was a bit cold this morning, but the people came in droves and we sold almost everything.
It was fun for us, and I got rid of LOTS of stuff and made a few $$ for the WDW fund!

My company is doing a 'garage' sale at work! Actually it's for the United Way. People are bringing in their items, they will all be displayed in our very large meeting room. People will donate $ to United Way and take the items. No pricing is involved, just an honor system on the value you give something. I'm taking a lot of 'home decor' stuff....assorted candle holders/picture frames and some microwave baking dishes. I figure my co-workers can have first shot at some of the nicer items before I do my own garage sale where people won't pay much for them anyway. And it goes to charity! Cool, huh?

oh I want to have one too
need some extra cash possibly for a trip to wdw
I wonder if kids clothes would do better at a gargage sale of consignment store

here people rig yard sales around flea market weekend to bring in more people

CourtasanSatine.... are you referring to Brimfield fleamarket?

Anyhow..... no yard sales around here until at LEAST the end of April. They usually get into full swing around mid to late May. About two years ago I organized/ran a church yard sale on May 18...........It SNOWED ALL DAY!! Needless to say it wasn't my most successful sale day!................................P:p

I was out this morning! Mainly to check out my competition. I hope to have a sale next weekend.

I did get some old 70's games for a quarter a piece. Man I need to start selling on EBAY!

You probably did so well because you were the only game in town. Way to go.

I go every weekend and today there were 7 pages on the garage sale website on my local papers site. There are usually about 3!

Michael and I hit two before the budget ran dry! Great deals ALL going up on eBay tomorrow! ...except the videos my son bought!

You know...that's funny...I was just thinking of garage sales this morning!
Ours don't start around here until May or June.
I can't wait to go searching!

Sounds like you found some great stuff!

My DD collects penguins...you are lucky you found that!
