Let the frustration begin...

After the third time using free dining, I swore that never again would I go thru the frustration of trying to get ADR for a FD time period...

Guess what? I was on the phone this morning trying to get ADR's for our FD Nov. 29-Dec 3. I will say it again, "I will never try to go to Disney during FD" (maybe if I say it enough times it will sink into my thick head)

How stupid is this? I was almost in tears because I was on hold for almost 1 hour and I just knew I wouldn't get what we wanted. TEARS!!!

Oh for goodness sake Kathryn, get a grip I have realized how ridiculous I was being and calmer heads have prevailed.

I didn't get exactly what we wanted but WTH, close enough.

Liberty Tree 5:35 (wanted 6:00)
Rose and Crown w/CP Package 5:25 (wanted Le Cellier)

Go with the flow.....but I will keep checking for cancellations

Next time, go online for what you can! I guess you can't do the CP package, but everything else? SO much easier. We had everything possible booked before I could even call the dining line. The only thing I was calling for was a fantasmic package and I got a CRT lunch on the phone (while holding one in my online cart just in case) since the online system seems to not recognize DDP and wanted to charge my CC for the meal. I was quite pleasantly surprised at how simple it was & how we were able to get basically everything we wanted (still waiting on the Fantasmic package since they haven't released Dec. hours yet)

I am so sorry that you didn't have an easy time with your ADR's. I did mine online this morning an hour and a half after online bookings begin and got everything I wanted. I'm sure you didn't want to hear that. You'll still have a magical time.

I was having a hard time with the computer this morning (not sure if it was my brain fart or the computers) or I would have done things online.

Glad all went okay for everybody!

Actually, I called back and I was able to change the Rose and Crown CP for Tutto Italia. I'm good with that I think the kids will like the Italian food more so than the English.

I'm happy now.....if I could only get 'Ohana at 5:00

I'm not a fan of the on-line system, so I called at 7 am today while trying to get ready for work and get the kids to school. I was on hold for 40 minutes and got everything I wanted except for Le Cellier and T Rex. Oh well, I am happy with what I did get, and I'll just keep trying for Le Cellier. It's so frustrating-I miss 180 days!
