Let me "rack" your collective brains!!

I voted downgrade but I have been to WDW about 15 times and have never paid rack rate. The first time we went in 1994 we got a package but it had a special of $250 Disney Dollars. The second time in 1996 we did the fall fantasy which at that time was a great deal. After that, we got AP's and did Magic Kingdom Club 20% off for some trips. Joined DVC in late 1999. Even extra trips with friends have been with cm discounts (they work for TDS). I'm adding an extra trip in October, don't have points to use, I'm hoping for an AP discount for a deluxe or home away, not sure what we will do if they don't come out, probably a moderate.

I don't know how many people pay "rack rate" but many get suckered into the packages, which when you break them apart they aren't much better than rack rate unless there is a special like FTP.
