Let me introduce myself

Thanks to all for making me feel so welcome

I have a question for everyone and please don't think less of me, but I see the ticker's at the bottom of almost all of your pages so I went to the site and created one, but I can't get it to post correctly. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Anyone able to help me out on this?

Here are some easy instructions:
1. Go to http://tickerfactory.com/Occasion/occasion.php?type=4 and create your ticker.

2. Once you make yyour ticker copy and paste all the text in the "bbCode" box.

3. Go to edit signature on the DisBoards and paste that in your siggy. Should work from there.

Oh yes, haha! What do you mean to say when you say that? As a true, down da bayou cajun girl, I have to ask!

I just mean (and pardon my French, lol) "that's life". I think this board is great and I belong to a number of Yahoo groups, but for some reason had never joined this one, even though it's deferences a ton of times on the MFL board I am on.

I just found it funny that here I am planning so much for my trip (BTW, June 23 - July 6 2007, me and my 9 y/o DD) and trying to get on all the mailing lists and a huge database such as this group, I totally over look.

But I am here now soaking up the knowledge.

Oh adn thank you, it worked (I hope, anyway) for the ticker, I appreciate the assistance.

Oh yeah oops! I just looked on Wikipedia before you posted and apparently people DO use it to mean that. Stupid me, I'm born and raised cajun country and I don't know that?! ooo yai yai.

I hope yall have fun on your vacation! We were there last December and I just can not WAIT to go back the year again. Like seriously, I am counting down the days and wondering if it's too early to start pulling out the suitcases!!! I love the DisBoards though, pretty much anything you want to know you find here, and then some!!!
