Well, I come home from work tonight and my husband says, "I signed up today for the Disboard but haven't figured out how to post yet"!

So I just said now, what username did you pick? He says "CABDAD"! I look at him with shock and say, "couldn't you come up with a better name than that"?

So here is CABDAD, my husband Robin!(and our youngest Brett)

Did somone tell you about the rule re DH's joining after DW's? and stealing part of their name Well when that happens, the DH has to make the DW breakfast in bed or do a household chore ie laundry every time he posts

Being an ex shift worker I fully understand, I used to wake up in the middle of the day to pay a 'too much coffee visit', put in a load of wash and return to bed. Then I would need more coffee when I woke up, so I would look like I wonder how many people would get out of bed at 3am and do that

Hey y'all
Firstly, have to thank everyone for welcoming me. New to this sort of thing, but life-long Mouseketeer. When I was very young (are we ever?), use to live in St. Petersburg, FL with my folks. . .so going to Disney was a relatively commonplace occurence (as opposed to now, when we pine away at our jobs for weeks and months for a scant few wks, provided $$$ is plentiful-if not, me and VISA best friends-ha!).

Have read with interest some of the messages posted in the various forums-nice to see it's not just about Disney stuff. .everything under the sun. .

I work in emergency services, talk to people for a living. .this will be a welcome change of pace. .

Finally, must comment on my DW's (I can't believe I just typed that, and actually knew what it meant-argh) comments about my user name. .to be quite honest, I thought it was unique, not necessarily original, but along her username line. .after all, where there's a CABMOM, there's often a CABDAD lagging behind. Shift work and all-she calls me her house husband. .I actually like domesticated life-getting laundry done, dishes, etc. . .and don't even get me started bout wallpapering. .But all in all, its a wonderfully shared experience. .

We're thinking WDW in March for 2 wks. .Can't figger out how to put up one of those blasted countdown timers yet. .so till I do, or my DW shows me, will give y'all the snail mail version of timely updates. .
