Thanks Dan for the moving pictures. I remember I was pregnant with my first DD when this happened and I remember thinking what kind of world am I bringing this child into. Fortunately I have learned there is more good than bad.

Wow, thanks Dan... I'm sorry to say I had forgotten Thanks for reminding me/us. The pictures made me tear up. I will say a prayer for all the family members left behind. It's hard to believe it's been 9 years.

Hi Trish. I just wanted to say that the words, other than the words above the top picture of the then destroyed Murrah Building, are either from the Oklahoma City National Memorial site (at the very bottom of the pictures) or from the captions with the pictures from Yahoo where I got the pictures from yesterday's memorial activities. Not my words this time, this thread.

And thank YOU for YOUR words.

I think this will always touch me in some way as I worked in a daycare the day this happened and when I was told of what happened the kids were all napping and I couldn't help but look around and think of the parents that would not have their kids home that night. Very sad!!! I went home that night, hugged my daughter and cried because she was there for me to hug.
