I think I'm finally getting excited about heading out really, really early on Friday morning! I don't know if other people feel this way, but until I'm actually on the road, I feel alot of anxiety about leaving - is the money better spent, will the house be broken into, will the dog stay healthy, and on and on and on!
As I've posted before, this trip will probably be the last spring break vacation with all my kids - my daughter will be going off to university in the fall (she put it off a year) and she's the Disney freak! We are taking an expecially long vacation - 2 + weeks, and I'm hoping we can all enjoy each others' company for that long a period 24/7! We are doing Disney for a week, and then we are booked into a nice, little resort down in the keys. We've never been there before, and I'm hoping it's as wonderful as I hear it is...
You guys may or may not remember a rather long thread I posted about whether we should come back in time for Easter Sunday/my FIL's 70th birthday. Well, we aren't, but my MIL took the news as well as could be expected, and we are having them over for cake and coffee tonight to celebrate their anniversary/birthday. The only thing is my FIL isn't feeling well, and honestly, I don't want to be exposed to whatever he's got! It's never simple is it?
Anyway, thanks for all the support, and I will post a trip report when we get home!
Take care and safe travel for anyone heading down south this weekend!
